My Untold Love Story (10k fanfiction) (DISCONTINUED)

So cold... Chapter 4

I looked out into the distance, and put my hand on to the bed of the truck. I felt something touch my hand. I turned my head and looked down at my hand and seen it was another hand. I used my eyes and looked all the way up his arm and ended up locking eyes with him.

I turned my hand over and locked my fingers in-between his. It all felt so right, and for the first time in forever I felt safe. I put my head against the window and looked up at the sky smiling.

I seen 10k looking at me in the corner of my eye. I turned my head to I was facing him and just admired his features.

I did this for a while and then I felt the truck low down and I looked into the window, everyone but Murphy was watching us. I kicked 10k trying to get his attention. Once he looked into the window and they noticed that we seen them, Warren took off again and ran over a Z. In the process 10k had hit his head. I giggled slightly "you okay?" I asked. "Yeah" he said while holding his head.

Our hands stayed locked the whole ride, I didn't mind it. But his hand was really cold.

Night fall came around and it got really cold. I let go of 10k's hand and grabbed one of my bags, he just watched me the whole time. I grabbed my blanket out of the bag and zipped it back up. The blanket was big enough to fit two. I looked at 10k and unfolded the blanket and rapped up in it, then I seen 10k slide over and lift the edge of blanket I had left out for him. He slid under it and at this point in time we were shoulder to shoulder. Then I felt him grab my hand and he held it close to him. I just looked at him and smiled.

I ended up laying my head on his shoulder and cloimg my eyes, I was pretending to be asleep then I felt him put his head on top of mine.

I didn't think he liked me. But now I see that he likes me more than I knew. I kinda liked all this, it seemed right and safe.

10k's POV

I had grabbed he Luna's things as I walked out of the house. She got them from me after a few minutes. When we started walking she kept sneezing there for a while. She sounded like what I remembered a kitten sneezing sounded like, it was cute.

When we got to the gas station, she went into the store and I hoped there weren't any Z's in there. Addy had walked out and pulled me to the side right before Luna walked out. Addy had said "we don't need any babies in the apocalypse right now, so here use these" she handed me a box and I quickly but it in my pocket. When I looked back at Luna she had a huge Z behind her, I got so scared I was gonna lose her right after I had just got her.

The next thing I knew she fell to the ground and everyone started shoting. It fell on top of her and she looked like she was be sandwiched between the ground and the Z. Addy and I ran over to her and got it off. I was so glad that she was okay.

Doc had found a 4 door truck and everyone piled into it and me and Luna had to get into the back of the truck. We started down the road. I looked at Luna and she was looked out into landscape. My hands were really cold, but I didn't care. I sat my hand down on top of hers. She turned her head and she looked at my hand then travel up my arm untill she was looking me right in the face. She turned her hand over and locked her fingers in-between mine. Then she looked into the sky and started smiling. She looked happy. She must have seen me looked at her because she looked me right in my face and was just looking at me and I did the same.

I felt the truck slow down but I didn't look away, but she did. Then I felt her kick me and I looked into the window and Warren took off again. I ended up hitting my head and Luna started laughing and asked if I was okay.

Night fall came fast I was enjoy sitting here holding Luna's hand. Once night hit good and it started getting really cold she let go of my hand.i didn't want her to let go, I just watched her as she unzipped her bag and pulled out a blanket. It looked like it was big enough to fit the two of us in it. She zipped the bag back, unfolded the blanket.

She left enough blanket for me to get under it. I slid under the blanket and felt we were shoulder to shoulder. I reached and grabbed her hand and put it close to me. She smiled.

After a few hours, she put her head on my shoulder, I looked at her and she looked as if she was asleep. I layed my head on top of hers.

I didn't think she liked me. I didn't even think she noticed me sometimes.  I started closing my eyes and I fell asleep.
