His eyes Chapter 6

10k started moving closer to me. As I locked eyes with him. He smiled slightly. I stayed locked into his eyes. He put his hand on my face. The next thing I knew, his soft lips were touching mine.

I felt my heart flutter. After a few seconds, it stopped. I opened my eyes and seen him looking at me. That was my first kiss and I liked it being him. I wouldn't want it to be anyone else.

I felt myself turning red. My heart was racing. I turned away and looked at the floor. I heard a knock at the door. " Hey, kid could you come help me" I heard doc say. I felt relieved, I didn't know why. "Yeah" he said standing up and walking out the room. I slammed back onto the bed. I put my hand on my chest, and smiled.

I loved that boy. I didn't know why. I just did. I know doc said to take it easy but I got up and walked to the kitchen.

Smiled the whole way there. Addy was in there " someones happy". I smiled and said "it's a beautiful day in the apocalypse, what's not to be happy for". She smiled at me and said "what happened, TELL ME". I blushed "oh, nothing". She laughed "lier TELL ME or I'll just have to ask him for myself". "Fine" I said " we kissed, and it was amazing, and my first". "AWW" she screamed and started jumping up and down like little kid. I laughed and said " shhhh, someone might hear you". Warren poped her head around the corner and said " what happened?". Addy stopped jumping and said "luna and 10k kissed". I blushed " and it was her first" she said. "Aww, you only get one" she winked and walked out. "Really addy don't tell anyone else".

"Tell anyone else what?" Asked Murphy. "Nothing" I said halfway smiling. "Okay" after a minute he spoke again " you remind me of my daughter, I think she'd act like you". Addy looked her smile. I looked at him " what's her name?". He looked at at Addy then at me and said " Lucy" . I lost my smile and said "I'm sorry". He walked out and said " whatever".

I grabbed a bottle of water and walked back to the room. I drunk a lit of my water and laid down. I laid there for maybe an hour. Just thinking. I had finally fallen asleep.

After a few more hours, I heard the door open. Then I heard a slight bang. I looked down at the window and it was 10k. He was taking his gloves off. I got back comfortable. I felt the blanket lift and cold air flow under it. I opened my eyes and rolled over. 10k smiled at me and said "can I join you". I slid over. He layed down and I cuddled up beside him. He put his hand on my back and started rubbing it. His hands were kinda cold.

I felt him reaching for something. I looked at him. He grabbed the antibiotic ointment for my cheek. He took some out of the toob, lifted my bandage, put it on and then put it back on.

I locked eyes with him. He smiled. He still smelled really good. I laid my head on his chest and listened to his heart beat.

I heard people talking but barely, 10k had fallen asleep a while ago. " Their really cute together" "yeah and the kid looks happy" "yeah, I'm glad he found some to help him get over red" "I was starting to think he wasn't". I wondered to myself * who's red, his ex, did she die??,what happened to her". Is that why he likes me? Am I his relief? What is he hiding?...I must be over reacting.* I ended up falling asleep doing all of this thinking.

I woke up and 10k was gone. I figured he went outside. I got up out of the bed and walked outside. 10k came around the counter of the house. "What are you doing out" he asked. " I come to say good morning and to get some fresh air" he walked the steps and said " you should be resting". " I know, I know". He kissed my forhead as he was doing this Addy walked out of the house and said "aww look at you two" I blushed and turned to walk in the house. I turned and looked at 10k one more time, he winked at me.

I went to the bedroom. I grabbed a bandage, something to clean the cut, and the antibiotic ointment. I shut the door and walked to the bathroom. I walked in and locked the door behind me. I took the bandage off and took the cleaner and cleaned it. As I was doing this it burned "ow fk" Afterwards I washed the rest of my face. I gave my face a minute to dry. I put the bandage on it, washed my hands and walked out.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed a pot, Warren walked in " what are you doing?" She asked " I was gonna cook something for everyone" I said. "Doc told me you had an infection, you need to rest" she said giving me a serious look. I handed her the food and walked out, I walked to the room, shut the door. I grabbed my bag reached in and grabbed a picture of my dad. He was a little shorter than I am, he had short brown hair, green eyes, and hated pictures. This was the only thing I had left from my past. I heard the door open and I shoved the picture back into my bag " what was that" 10k asked. "Nothing" I said. "Luna?" He said as he put his hand down on my shoulder. " It was a picture of my dad, it's the only thing I have left".

He started looking really sad "Tommy what's wrong?" I asked worried " I lose my dad too"... I sat down and he sat with me he told me about his dad and I told him about mine. It was funny how much they had in common...
