Chained up. Chapter 5

We were flying down the road. I was looking out into the trees. My hand locked tightly to 10ks.

I seen another Z chained to the tree. I tightened my grip on 10ks hand. He looked down at our hands then at me. "What's wrong" he asked. I pointed to the chained up Z. He kinda tilted his head and looked at the Z. "I had seen another not to far back" I said looking at him.

10k slides a little closer to me, like he was trying to protect me from something or better yet someone. I layed my head back on the glass of the truck them I felt the truck stop. I looked up to see the road was blocked. 10k looked back, let go of my hand and grabbed his gun. I followed him like a little lost puppy.

Warren, addy, doc, 10k and I all got out of the truck. 10k was watching me like a hawk. I seen a chain by the side of the road i picked it up, it had a few Z guts on it. I snap it go all of the gut off.

All of a sudden a good 10 men come ruching out of the trees. I turn around and see 3 behind me. I grip my chain and grab the knife 10k let me have. Then I hear a gun click behind me then I felt someones hand reach out and touch me, I turn my head and see 10k behind me I back up to the point that I'm beside him.

"We come in peace, we just wanna pass through" I heard Warren say. I heard someone say "I'm sorry but I can let you do that". I looks over at Addy she gripped her bat and then at 10k. He had his gun looked in on one of there heads.

The mean started closing in. One of them got extremely close to me and in the corner of my eye I see 10k point his gun at his. I tilt my head and grip my knife. "You're a pretty one" he said while taking another step. I lifted my knife up to his chin "yeah, but I'm also dangerous". He grinned and stepped back. I put my knife down seen 10k following Bim with his gun.

"We don't want anyone to get hurt just let us pass" Warren said. All the men took there guns out exept the one that was in front of me , he took out a knife. They took all of there guns/ knifes and pointed them at us. We all looked at Warren and she had her gun pointed she nodded and shot. The man the was standing in front of me ran towards me. I moved aside and makes him run right past me, he came running at me again, this time I tripped him and he tumbled to the ground I walked over to him and he was reaching for his gun and kicked it just as I did a bullet came and skinned the side of my face, I put my hand to my face not paying attention to the guy on the ground. He grabbed my ankle and I fell on my butt. I kicked him and got my foot back. I gripped my knife and swing it towards him, he douged it and grabbed his. I stood up and so did he the others were dealing with the other people of the group. I grabbed my chain and started swinging it around he ran at me and I hit him with my chain. He fell to his knees, walked behind him and put my chain around his neck, tightened it and swung my hair, just as I did a Z came running out of the woods at me. I Undid the chain that was around his neck and the Z fell on top of him. I backed up and into 10k. He looked at me and then at the screaming man and Z, he shot them both then Warren said "well we tried to be peaceful" I nodded and wiped the wet blood off my face. 10k came and wiped my cheek with some type of cloth. I looked into his eyes , then I rapped my arms around him and hugged him.

He didn't know how to act at first then I felt him rap his arms around me. I could hear his heart beating, it was so fast, but he was breathing normally. I let go of him after I heard something say "aww" I figured it was addy. I turned red and walked up to Warren and seen that she had already tooken care of the road block, I untied the chain from the middle, there was a Z that was still moving, I took the knife 10k gave me and killed it, I took and wiped the blade off with my pants leg. We unblocked the road and got back in the truck. Addy decided that she was gonna drive. Went we got to the truck Murphy was sleeping. I shook my head and jumped in the back of the truck.

A few hours passed and it started getting dark and cold. I grabbed my blanket out of my bag and layed down in the bed of the truck. I watched the stars. They were so beautiful. I felt 10k start playing with my hair, I slid over and layed down on his leg. It was so peaceful at night.
