By the next morning, Tyler was in his old prison cell with a two week sentence and new prison clothes. Paige was the one who escorted him into his cell when his unconscious body came back to the prison. She leaned against the stone interval between the two cells across from Tyler's with her arms crossed, waiting for him to wake up. She knew he had it rough, too rough for his own good. She was ready to leave the city herself, but like many ready escapees, she was waiting for the next mass breakout to be lead by Tyler the next time he left.
Tyler's eyes flickered, opening in the cell, processing where he was. He sat up slowly, realizing he had a bed and not the floor to sleep on anymore. He went to sleep in-between Josh and Jenna, but now he was in a cell, looking at Paige from afar, wanting to hug her as it had been oh so long.
"Paige." He breathed, scrambling out of the bed and running to her, holding the bars, she couldn't help but smile.
"Tyler, it's good to see you." She said, Tyler nodded.
"Why am I here? How long had I been out for?" He asked.
"Relax, you were just asleep. Nico practically threw your limp body to me though, told me to put you back down here. I dressed you too, but your shirt is still on from before, don't worry. Your stuff is also at the camp. You're here for two weeks." She informed. Tyler listened to every word, smiling as he wasn't stuck in that damned upholstered cell anymore.
"You good?" She asked, Tyler nodded.
"Yes, it's just been too long since I was in a cell were I could talk to anyone." He said, like he had just come up from water for air. Paige smiled.
"Glad to be your acquaintance. Is the next breakout the last one?" She asked. Tyler smiled, nodding.
"Yes, I just need my time here, and I'll be just ready to go." He said, Paige nodded, excitedly.
"I think I'm ready to join you in Trench." She admitted quietly with a smile that was rarely found on her face. Tyler's smile only grew, looking at her with such pride he couldn't contain within himself.
"That is fantastic! I"m so happy for you!" He exclaimed. Paige blushed in happiness. Tyler smiled fondly at his friend.
"Thank you." She said.
"We need to get you out soon, I promise you'll be my partner." Tyler said, Paige smiled.
"Do I get other people?" She asked.
"Yes, get as many people you know who need to leave to go. They are filled in the mines, but make sure it's not too many. Maybe a good six or seven. That's what a mass breakout is." Tyler explained, Paige's yes widened.
"You know how many people will be upset with you." She said. Tyler sighed.
"Not everyone can get out," He said, pointing at himself. "Also, there's this red haired guy in the mines that is the section next to mine, he's dating a bandito named Frank. You know who he is? He needs out asap I promised him as well."
"Anyone else you make a pinky promise to?" She asked childishly. Tyler smirked, shaking his head with honesty.
"Good. His name is Gerard, Gerard Way." She stated. Tyler nodded.
"Fits the hair." He said, Paige chuckled.
"I guess. Do I go get them now?" She asked, Tyler nodded.
"You need to prep them for leaving. You've seen the outside from afar. You know how it works to an extent. You need to get them ready, okay? Can you do that for me?" Tyler asked. Paige nodded.
