I woke up entangled in The Doctor's arms. I laid there for a moment thinking. Thinking of him. Thinking of my friends. Thinking of everything at once. The Doctor slowly broke his eyes open.
"Good morning, Cody." I was never called that before, but I liked it.
"Good morning, Doctor." I answered smiling. I thought right then and there I loved him. More than when i was little. I wasn't sure though. It was better to keep to myself.
He kissed my forehead and got up slowly. He stopped at the doorway.
"Guess where we're going today," he had a ear to ear grin painted on his face like always. I rubbed my eyes and sat up.
"Where?" I asked still half asleep.
"Space!" he ran out the door waking up everyone with every stomp. Everyone was annoyed for sure.
"Where in space are we?" April asked all excited.
"I have no clue!" The Doctor knocked on the closest door. No answer. He tried the second door. No answer, again. This caught The Doctor's attention.
"This city's abandoned," he said in shock. "But why. That's the big question of the day here." we all were deep in thought for a few minutes when we suddenly saw a stone angel. They were a light grey and pointing at us. I looked at the all the details.
"Don't blink!" The Doctor ordered us "keep staring at it. Do not look away!" my eyes were burning in minutes. I had to blink, but I didn't want to die. Not while The Doctor is here. Not now. Not ever. I didn't blink. I could handle it.
"Now, back away slowly," we did as he said all the way back into the Tardis.
"What are those?" I asked panting.
"Weeping Angels," he answered looking around the control room.
"10," Emma started counting. The Doctors eyes grew wide.
"Oh, no," The Doctor put his hands through his hair. "Don't tell me you look into the eyes!" She nodded sending him into a rage.
"AHHHHHHHH!" he screaming in a hushed tone making it louder as he went on.
"Close your eyes, now!" The Doctor ordered "and don't ask questions. " she did as he was told.
"I can't see," she put her hands out guiding her.
"Of course ya can't!" Ireland rolled her eyes at Emma's blondness. This was going to be a long night.
