"Where are you? Kanina ka pa namin tinatawagan and you are not even answering our calls. Damn it!"

"I'm on my way Lau. What the hell I was inside the conference room awhile ago and my phone was inside my office."

I am almost about to fly this stupid car just to speed up my way to the said hospital. Honestly my heart feels like it's about to go out and I just can't wait to get myself there.

Lauren, my sister called me for a couple of times already and I also checked my call logs and there I saw some calls from our friends. These missed calls are not helping me right now. It makes me feel more nervous damn it!

As soon as I finished parking I rushed inside the hospital and went to the nurse station. It kinda annoyed me that some nurses are making move just to caught my attention. What the fuck?! Are they thinking I will entertain their act? My wife is in fucking trouble right now!

"Can you please do it fast? I am sorry Miss but I really need to see my wife right now."

I put a little emphasis on the word wife just in case they forgot that I am already married. I saw how the nurse's reaction turned sour after what I said. Fuck this! I am getting impatient right now!

"A-ah eh Sir turn right lang po then after po nun left turn ulit and you will see the-"

"Ok thanks."

I cut what she said and I right away followed what she said. As I was running, I couldn't help but to feel scared about this.

What if?

"Salamat naman at dumating ka na bro! Kanina ka pa namin hinihintay!"

"Bago siya nawalan ng malay ikaw yung hinanap niya."

I ran my fingers to my hair and closed my eyes. Fuck! Is my wife having a hard time inside?!

"James, anak kumalma ka. Magiging okay lang si Nadine sa loob."

"Dapat maging excited ka. Lalabas na iyong anak niyo maya maya."

I nodded as Mommy My and Daddy Dong went to console me. I smiled at them to convince them that I am fine.

For almost an hour we patiently waited outside the delivery room. I was already walking back and forth and couldn't contain the emotions that I am feeling right now. I just don't understand that this is how it feels like to have your wife inside giving birth to your child. I mean no one informed me ahead that this could make me crazy.

"Excuse me. Is the husband of Ms. Nadine here?"

I was taken aback when the doctor went out and called for my attention. Again, my heart beat tripled like crazy and these thoughts immediately swallowed my whole system.

Fuck!

"Congratulations your wife successfully delivered your babies."

Wait, what? Babies?!

"You mean Doc it's a-"

"Yes Mr. Reid. It's a twin. Congratulations again."

The doctor smiled lively to me but I couldn't equal it anymore. I am just in cloud nine right now and I couldn't believe we're having a twins!

"Congrats bro! Grabe nakadalawa agad!"

"Daddy James! Your the man talaga! Congrats!"

And from that moment I accepted that another chapter of my life has finally come. Being a father. At first I was scared and I don't know if I will going to handle it the way how my Dad handled me. I always looked up to him and I promised to myself that if ever I will be going to be a dad someday, I wanted to be just like my father.
