"Mommy it's so boring here can we just stop playing hide and seek"

Alani caresses her son's head, "Shh just go to sleep Angel"her voice shook, she was trying her best to hold back her tears.
"Mommy?"

"Hm?" She blinks, "Are you sad mommy?" He looks up at her, Alani's tears fell unintentionally, she goes to wipe them but angel beats her to it.
"Don't cry mommy...Teayong is gonna find us" he nods, Alani's lip trembled as smiles.
"You're right Angel" she chuckles.

Angel was the light of her life.

Eventually the toddler fell asleep in her arms and Alani follows behind.

The next morning it was the same routine...minus Taehyung.
"Look mommy!" He giggles, Angel was dressed so she sat him in front of the Tv so she could get ready.
"Oh haha that's funny" she chuckles.

"Yeah" angel smiles, there was a pause, Angel turns to look at his mom.
"Mommy...did Teayong leave us?"

Alani halts midway as she was putting on her jeans, "Of-Of course not angel" she shook her head as she continued putting on her pants.
That was true though they left him.

"Okay..." he slowly turns back to the television, Alani sighs before chewing on her lip.

"Make sure you have a good day at school alright?"

"Okay mommy"

Alani grabs her son and gives him a tight hug, "Mommy I can't breath" she immediately let's him go with a laugh.
"I'm sorry baby" she kisses his forehead, "Be a good boy for me in school alright?"

"Alright, bye mommy!" He waves as he walks backwards, "Walk correctly angel" she laughs.
He turns and walks into the school.

Just as Angel walked in the school a frown formed on her lips, she wasn't sure where to go.
Going to work was dangerous, going to her and Angel's old house was dangerous and we all know a hotel wasn't a very comfortable place to stay all day.
So she thought it'd just be best to find a place to eat far from where she resides, she'd just buy a cup of coffee and sit there until it was time to get Angel.

So that's what she did, she drove to a random restaurant.

It seemed they made sandwiches, Alani gets out the car and makes her way to the eatery, "Good morning ma'am, pick a table and we'll be right with you"

"Thank you"

Alani takes a seat in a booth, and she lays her head down.
"Hello I'm Hani and I'll be your waitress for this morning, here are your menus would you like to try our breakfast special, buy one breakfast sandwich get any sandwich free"

Alani lifts her head, "You know what...Yeah I'd like to try that...What's in the breakfast sandwich"

"Your choice of bacon or sausage with eggs and optional grape jelly and you can pick out another meat for only fifty cents extra" she kept a smile on her face, Alani was trying her best to keep up with her peppy expression .
"And for the second sandwich?"

"A grill cheese with bacon thank you" she knew Angel would like that, "Will this complete your order?"

"May I add a cup of coffee as well?"

"Of course, would you like cream and sugar"

Alani nods, "Yes thank you Hani" she rubs the back of her neck, Hani double takes her.
"Okay...You're order will be ready soon" she nods before walking away, Alani chews on her lip as she waits for her food.

Alani felt herself unconsciously dozing off, she made sure to hold her bag tight while using it as a pillow.

"Hey wake up!"

Alani recognizes the voice, she panics internally but keeps her head down, the voice growls "Get up!"
Jacob grabs her and yanks her out the seat, "You thought running away would mean I couldn't find you?!"
He throws her to the ground and alani meets eyes with her worst nightmare, She quickly tries crawling away but Jacob grabs her feet, Alani saw familiar figures standing at the entrance of the restaurant. Angel and Taehyung with their backs turned to her, Alani tries to shout for help but Taehyung ignores her and the only person to hear her was Angel.
He turns and saw the disaster, he began sobbing, and reaching out to her but not moving an inch almost as if his feet were nailed to the ground.

Jacob finally flips her over, "You not getting away this time"

Alani shot up and a yelp startled her even more, Hani stumbles a bit before catching herself and stabling the food on the tray.
Alani gets up and quickly helps the kind waitress place the stray on the table, "I-I'm so sorry, I fell asleep and I guess...I guess I had a bad dream"

Hani shook her head, "It's fine some of the coffee spilt but there's still enough" she starts to wipe the hot liquid off her arm.

"When is your lunch break,I'll buy you lunch to make up for it"

"No no it's fine really" just as hani turns to leave Alani pulls her back, "I'm serious...please"

"Okay...I go on break in about two more hours, but I can tell them I'm having an emergency and we can leave now"

"You sure that's okay to do?" Alani asked, Hani shrugs "Its not really busy today as you can see. I'll be right back"

Hani walks away to inform her manager and Alani blinks slowly, she hadn't had a nightmare like that in years.
