"Who was that guy?"

Fran said coming in the store after watching Taehyung leave, "Somebody I met at the park"

Fran frowns "He seems...Unhinged"

"Please...you've met my baby daddy" Alani rolls her eyes, Fran crossed over her arms "Alani I'm serious, he seems like....troubling"

"I lost Angel in the park and he helped me find him...does that sound like a nefarious criminal"

Fran sighs at her coworker and close friend, Alani and Fran were friends for about eight years. They met in school and when Alani got pregnant at 17 she was the only one that stuck around

"It's time to pick up Angel, could you close up today"

Fran sighs "..Sure just promise me he won't be back"

As Alani was washing her soiled hands, she looked over her shoulder "Well that may not be promised but you can always help if he ever-"

"No!...I mean, as long as you don't date him or whatever" Alani scoffs "I'm done with dating...the only boy I need in my life is my son"

Alani left and got in her Honda and drove to Angel's Elementary, she got out the car and walked to the building.
All the children were already standing outside waiting for their parents, Alani looked around for Angel noticing he was still in the building she walked in after him
"Angel...baby what's wrong?"

She heard sniffles, Alani began to worry, "Angel turn around"

He turn around from the corner he was standing in to reveal his tear soaked cheeks. Alani pouts "Angel what happened" she squats to hug him, "She's not my girlfriend anymore mommy"

Alani looks at him confused for a second, but her face softens when she realized what he meant "Your girlfriend broke up with you?" His 'girlfriend' was a girl he played with at recess, Angel even brought her candy and a teddy bear for Valentine's Day.
"She said she liked Darien more than me" he sobbed into his mom's shoulder, Alani needed to think of something quick.
"Ah I know what will cheer you up...You want dessert for dinner

Dessert for dinner was a saying to disguise the fact that they were actually eating vegetables, she'd order stuff like:

Black bean and avocado brownies, Sweet potato doughnuts and his favorite beets and orange smoothies.

"Yes!"
"Yeah?"

Taehyung

He stopped by another store and got some flower food and extra soil in case he needed any, as soon as he saw this orchid he knew he needed it, something had drawn him to it.

It could have been the fact that Alani said it was her favorite or it could have been his favorite all along.

"Hyung!" Taehyung looks up and meets eyes with Jungkook was standing outside the apartment building smoking a cigarette. Taehyung huffed he hated to see anyone smoking, he hated the smell as well, and Jungkook had to much potential for lung cancer.

Taehyung pulls the cigarette from his lips and stomps it out "Stop that"

Jungkook gasped "What the hell hyung!"

"I told you stop smoking a while ago"

Jungkook's frown slowly turns into a smile "You care about me" Taehyung groans and walks in the apartment having Jungkook follow behind him "Sure"

"Awww hyung" Jungkook cooes and hugs him as if he were a child hugging their father. "Get off"

Taehyung pushes him away, Jungkook notices the flower pot in his hand. "That's a pretty flower"

"Yup"

Taehyung began walking,

"Who is it for?"

"Decoration"

"Oh...well-"

"Hey Jungkook?"

They hear someone call his name, his roommate, Yugyeom Kim, He was fully dressed. Jungkook smiles sweetly "Yeah?"

Yugyeom looks between the two people in front of him "I'm going out with my girlfriend for a bit"

"Oh...okay" Jungkook breathed, if Taehyung was mistaken he could hear somewhat jealousy in his voice.

Yugyeom gave him one last looks before going back inside, Jungkook face now held an annoyed expression and his tongue was pressing against his cheek.

If it wasn't clear enough, Jungkook had a crush on his roommate. Yugyeom sometimes even plays along with it like kissing him or telling jungkook he'd break up with his girlfriend for him, he even went as far as having sex with jungkook, but the next morning he told jungkook to never bring it up again

Taehyung rolls his eyes at the envious youngster, "That should be enough to make you go back inside your own apartment now" he said, jungkook kept his eyes on the ground and he looked like he was trying to hold back his emotions.

Taehyung noticed this, "Hey?"

"Yeah sorry I'm go-"

"No... listen to what I'm about to say"

Jungkook nods and presses his hands into his pockets, Taehyung sighs but places a hand on his shoulder "If they aren't ready, don't wait around for it. Go get someone who is" he lightly smacks jungkook's cheek and goes inside his apartment.

"Okay.." Taehyung breaths out to himself, placing the plant on a table, he walks into his bedroom
. "Finally your home"
Taehyung closed his eyes in annoyance, "Didn't I tell you to leave before I got home"

"I understood that you were just playing hard to get and I can play along too"

Taehyung shrugs and slides off his shoes, she giggles "I knew it-"

"I'm getting comfortable so I can call the police department" I swiftly pulls out his phone and she stood to her feet, "Alright Alright I'm leaving...but here's a little something first"
She hands him the underwear that was once on her body.
"A souvenir..." she waves flirtatiously and finally leaves his house, Taehyung groans and tosses the underwear somewhere

He falls back out onto his bed and sighs.
