"So you ordered the two small Kimchi fried rice and one cheese kimbap?"

"Yes thank you...hey your english is really good"

Taehyung double takes the woman standing in front of him, "Uh...okay"

"Oh no that's a compliment usually I can't really understand you guys"

Taehyung keeps a tight lipped smile, trying to control his emotions, "Okay..." he said not trusting any other word to leave his mouth, the lady recognized his uncomfortableness and just awkwardly nods.

After Taehyung hands her the food she spoke again, "I'm sorry if I offended or you know-"

"I'm fine...please return to Kim's Korean" he said monotone with a forced smile, she clears her throat and leaves the restaurant allowing Taehyung's face to drop into a scowl.
His dad came out from the kitchen and pats his back, "You're getting better at controlling your mouth but now you just need to control your face" his dad said grabbing his cheeks and squishing them together.

"Dad" he groans moving his face away from his hold, "If I can't touch your face let me at least see this" his dad dug in his son's back pocket and pulls out a picture.
"Who's this pretty little rose?"

His dad teased looking at Alani, "Dad no!"

"Is this the so called Im Nayeon?"

After he said that name his mother ran from the kitchen into the front, "It's her?! Let me see let me see"

His dad stops for a moment after he took a good look at Alani's face, "Wait is this?..."

"Oh let me see her" his mom snatched the Polaroid and looks her face, her eyes squinting and she pulls the picture closer, "This girl...she was-was the one with the child and...the man who nearly Shot You!" She looks at Taehyung with wide eyes, "Why do you have her picture Taehyung....Why!" She turns to grab her son but his father blocks her.

"Mom I told you she was just being held hostage!"

"It's not about her...it's about that man! You told me they haven't caught him if he thinks you two are together he will try to hurt you again,and next you maybe not be so lucky!"

"I don't care..."

This was his father's turn to look at him, "You may not care but we do Taehyung, please think about how distraught we'd be if you were killed...or even hospitalized"

"They need to be protected I can't just leave them for dead"
"Taehyung you can't possibly be the only person they can depend...I'm really sorry about what they're going through but this can't be your problem too" his dad said calmly still hugging his wife, Taehyung pauses keeping his stare on the floor, his parents watched Taehyung carefully.

"Dad...when did you know you loved mom?"
