During training one day, the manager, Yuki Shirofuku mentioned on how she saw Akaashi getting molested on the train the previous day. Before she could continue, Bokuto had already interrupted and declared that he would protect Akaashi.
From then on, Bokuto would wait for Akaashi after school and after training so he could escort him home. Bokuto also changed from taking the bus to taking the train just so he could protect his precious junior from any suspicious looking people. Bokuto would even wait for Akaashi at Akaashi's train station in the morning. He did not want any shady person getting to his pretty junior afterall.
Bokuto was really careful with these kinds of things. He would make sure Akaashi stood by the train doors, and he would stand before him, shielding him from every passenger in the train. Only at times like this did Bokuto seem like an adult.
Seeing his commitment, Shirofuku and Akaashi both did not have the heart to tell him that on that day, Akaashi had gripped the man's hand so hard, the man was crying in pain. Afterall, Akaashi is a sportsman plus a karate and akido blackbelt.
Akaashi also did not tell because he really liked the special attention he was getting from Bokuto. Of course Bokuto would never know about that.
