Three turned into Four

Sick day

"*Cough Cough* Eh, I think I'm dying..."

"I-It's okay Vill, the others are coming in a minute."

"...Lucas if I don't recover just know that-" suddenly Toon link burst through their door.

"I'm here and Ness is on his way," he says walking up to Villager's bed. "Master Hand already replaced your matches with a clone today." Villager groaned.

"M-my head..."

"Lucas, go get a cold rag please," Lucas nodded and ran to get a cold towel. Just then Ness comes in with medicine.

"I'm here."

"*Cough Cough* Give me!"

"Ok geez I just got here," after measuring Ness give Villager the medicine which he drank in one gulp surprising the others. "Dang..."

"H-Here's a cold towel Vill," Lucas said handing the towel to him.

"Thanks," he said putting the towel on his head and laying his head down on his pillow.

"Come on guys let's let him rest today," Toon suggested taking the two by hand and walking out.

"I wonder if he'll be ok tomorrow,"Lucas said with concern for his friend.

"I'm sure he will," Toon reassured,"but for now let's see if we have any matches today," once the three got to the bulletin board they realize who they were up against.

"Oh no, not them, anyone but them."

"Hey pipsqueaks," boomed an all too familiar dark voice. "Ready to get pummeled?"

"Only if you're ready for another defeat," Toon countered with the other two in a readied stance.

"I guess we'll just have to see about that won't we," Ganondorf said as him and his teammates walked to the arena.

"Wait, Alex is supposed to be fighting as well," Ness brought up.

"I guess we'll just have to do with his clone this time."

"But how are we suppose to communicate with them if they don't talk," Lucas asked worriedly.

"It'll be fine relax, I'm sure they'll understand our strategy."

Time skip...

The three boys plop down on the floor exhausted from the battle.

"Never again..." Ness commented.

"For now on we ask Master Hand to cancel Villager's battles,"Toon suggest with the others nodding in agreement. Just then evil laughter can be heard by there opponents.

"Guess you were wrong huh Toonie," he gave his rival a glare of annoyance.

"You know what, how about I show you who's better,"he was about to grab his sword when Ness stop him.

"Toon, he's not worth it," reluctantly Toon let his hand fall to his side.

"Yeah, listen to your boy Nessie," Wario teased.

"Nevermind let's get 'em."

"Guys!"Lucas called trying to stop the fight but to no avail.

Time skip again...

"Hey Alex, how you feeling?" Toon greeted as they entered Villager's room.

"I'm actually feeling a lot better, how was the match?"

"Terrible if you watched it," Ness commented.

"Sorry I couldn't be there."

"I-It's ok Vill we managed," Lucas reassured.

"I'm glad to hear it," Villager said smiling.
