After Ness and Toon link came back with snacks, the four boys instantly booted up their Wii to play some video games.

"I'm about to be 1st place suckers!" Ness bragged as he was gaining up on the finish line.

"Not if I have anything to do about it," Toon said launching a blue spiked shell at him.

"Nooo, Toon Link!" Ness shouted trying to recover from the attack.

"I win!" Toon says after passing the finish line before Ness.

"You're bogus Toon."

"That's pay back for dragging me to the store," he says taking out a bag of chips from his grocery bag.

"If I didn't you wouldn't have got those chips," Ness points out with a smirk.

"Hmph," Toon crossed his arms and turned away. Villager took a glance at Lucas who looked completely calm and well...normal.

'It's like nothing happened,' Villager's eyes shined in amusement until Lucas caught his gaze.

"Something wrong Vill?" Lucas asked.

"Oh uh, N-Nothing," he answered blushing in slight embarrassment.

Lucas smirked, "Is it about earlier?"

"I just don't understand why you change so suddenly."

"It's just something I've learned on my own," he says eating licorice, "You promise to keep it a secret, right?"

"O-Of course," Lucas glared at him and moved closed to him.

"Right?" Villager lean back a little and nodded to which Lucas smiled.

"Can I tell you something Vill?" Villager reluctantly agreed. Just before Lucas got a word out Toon interrupted.

"Lucas, what're you talking about?" he says with his hands on his hips. Lucas turned to them realizing that Ness was also interested in their private conversation.

"Nothing, it's nothing guys," he answers with a fake smile.

"You're a little bit too close to him, don't you think?" Ness pointed out with a smirk. Lucas turned back to Villager who looked a bit dazed.

"Oh, sorry Alex," he says scooting over to give him space.

"Look, I get it you think he's special, but he's not a toy," Toon says crossing his arms.

"Says the person who treats Lucas like one when you're high on sugar," Ness comments.

"T-That was one time, and to be honest I was trying to cover up from the mess inside my head."

"Well, you didn't do a very good job of it."

"That's because you read my mind when I crashed that night."

"Are we going to play another game?" Villager asked finally being recovered from embarrassment.

"Oh right, let's play Smash Brothers next." After a round of fighting in their favorite game, Toon started hitting Ness' back with the controller.

"Hahaha...I'm sorry," Ness apologized through laughs.

"It's not funny you idiot," once again Lucas was calm through the whole thing while Villager watched in confusion.

"Is this an everyday thing?" he asked Lucas.

"Yep, sometimes they get along just fine."

"Do they enjoy teasing each other or something?"

"Maybe."

"Don't you start, I already know you're dirty secret Luke," Toon warns stopping his silly action.

"And we know yours," Ness counters slyly.

"Shut up!" he says facing the television.

"Alright, what's next?" Lucas asked.

"It's your choice now."

"Wii sports."

"Fine," Ness put the newest version of the game in and waited for it to start. Him and Toon link competed for first place while Lucas and Villager played for fun. After being tied with the amount of wins, Toon and Ness fought it out in a game of fencing. While they did Lucas and Villager started talking.

"So, what were you going to say to me earlier?" Villager asked in curiosity and bravery. Lucas took a minute to stretch then answered.

"I'll tell you later."

"Oh come on, you were so confident a moment ago."

"Do you really want me to say it in front of them?"

"Oh," he says in realization.

"Not to mention you were going to say something to me when you got sick," he pointed out. "I still haven't heard what it was."

"Oh um, I-I'm not sure what it was anymore," he answers trying to figure it out himself.

"Exactly, but what I was going to say wasn't important," he finishes looking back at the TV. Villager thought about what he said feeling disappointed that he couldn't hear it.

"Dang it Toon, you cheated."

"No I didn't, I'm just good with swords."

"Whatever," Ness said pouting as he plopped on the couch with his arms crossed. Toon link sat beside him and stared at him until he reacted. "What?"

"Why don't you see for yourself?" Toon smirked, hoping he would look into his mind for an answer.

"Shut up," he said pushing him away from his face.

'I should've stuck with Rock as my only friend,' Villager thought feeling awkward again.
