Lucy's POV

Today is the day where my life changes. Where I'm leaving Kayla and Loke and heading to North Magnolia. Honestly, I'm not the most excited to leave them. Both of them has always been there to help me whether I needed it or not. But I don't regret my descision to leave. Like I said to Kayla, this could change my life. I do want to know what my gifted power is. I want to know what a high school is like since we didn't have enough money for me to attend one. I want to meet new people.

I need to attend here.

I was throwing a few favorite books into my backpack when I heard the door behind me creak open. Over my shoulder was Loke, leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed and his lips in a smile. "Lucy-nii. You excited?"

"Yes! Of course!" My smile faded into a frown shortly after, "The only part I'm not excited for is leaving you and Kayla-sama."

I felt him walking over to my side, sitting down beside me. "Don't worry. Maybe I'll get a job and me and Kayla can afford to visit you some time!" Loke said happily.

"I'd like that, Loke-nii." I said as I checked my phone for the time. " I'll be leaving in 5 minutes Loke-nii, just promise me one thing."

"Anything." He replied.

"Help Kayla-sama as much as you can." I said sincerely.

"Don't I do that already?" He ranted.

"I've never seen you help with baking the bread." I stated, crossing my arms to fool him into thinking I'm mad.

Loke started laughing, and he proceeded putting his hand onto my shoulder. "I'm going to miss you, Lucy-nii."

"I'll miss you as well, Loke-nii." I pulled him into a hug, the first hug we had for 4 years.

When I felt like letting go, both me and Loke felt another pair of arms wrapping around us. Telling by the black hair that fell from her head, it was Kayla.

"Kayla-sama.." I croaked, a tear starting to stream down my eye. "I'll miss you so much."

"Everyone here will miss you, Lucy." She said, Lucy feeling tears coming from Kayla that dropping on her forehead. "But like every big girl, we all have to leave our loved ones someday."

"Just don't forget us, Lucy-nii. We'll always be here." Loke smiled.

We all sat there hugging, trying to make this moment last. Tears were dancing down everyone's cheeks and everyone had the same smile on their faces. This was a moment that was wanted to last forever.

But it couldn't.

"Lucy, I see the taxi outside.." Kayla said, her smile turning upside down. We all pulled away from each others arms. "I'll answer the door. Loke, help Lucy bring her luggage downstairs."

I flung my backpack onto my shoulder and took hold of the handle on one of my suitcases while Loke did the same to my other suitcase. "Lucy-nii, this suitcase is so heavy! What's is here, an elephant?!"
