Natsu's POV

"Don't chase after her..." A small voice begged after wrapping their hand around my wrist.

"Lisanna?" I ask, unable to turn around to check.

"Yeah." She confirmed as she turned my head towards her. "Please don't chase after Lucy-chan. Please, Natsu-kun.." As I paid more attention to her expression, I only find that she had let go of the tears she had been holding in.

"But why, Lisanna?" I ask as calmly as I could.

"I don't want to loose you to her!" She cried out loud, loud enough for the entire hallway to hear.

My eyebrow arched, "I thought you two were friends?"

Lisanna hesitated before nodding her head, "Me and Lucy-chan are friends, but I don't think it's entirely her fault!"

"What are you saying, Lisanna?" I yelled as I shook her shoulders back and forth. "What's the point of this?!"

Lisanna's angry expression converts into calmness again. "Natsu I'm in love with you, just please, be mine and mine only!" She justified as she grabbed ahold of my hands.

No.

I can't accept. Just because she's appearently friends with Lucy doesn't mean it makes up for what she did in the past.

I shove her hands off of my shoulders, "I'm sorry Lisanna, I really am.." I fist automatically clench and heat rises up to my cheeks, "But my feelings belong to Lucy, and Lucy only!"

The tears falling down Lisanna's eyes become more strong, more feeling put into them. "I-I-It's.. Not... Fair.." She mumbled, sobbing in between each word. "I met you first!! She just randomly showed up and took you away from me!!" Her face became engulfed with rage and hatred which was all directed onto me.

"I met Lucy before you!" I scream back, glaring into Lisanna's moist eyes. "I met Lucy when I was 7. I saved her from drowning in a lake!" I bursted out, trying to keep my anger inside of me. "And you have the right to say that I'm yours?! You've got to be kidding me!"

Lisanna's anger dropped from her face, and was now covered with guilt. "I'm sorry.. Natsu.." Her tears quickly stopped flowing, "I never knew... I.." Her face become occupied with determination, "I'm not going to argue to this!" She yelled clearly, "I can't change your feelings, but I can change mine. I'm sorry for everything. But please go, please find Lucy!"

I smiled and nodded my head. "Thanks, Lisanna." And with that I ran down the hallway where I had last seen Lucy.

Lisanna's POV

Yeah, so what if I'm heartbroken.

Really heartbroken.

I told myself that I wasn't going to give up on Natsu. I promised myself. But it's a promise that needs to be broken. Seven years is long enough, right? And I mean, there's plenty of guys out th-..

Why am I thinking this. I'm going to cry. Proud. But it's going to be the last time I cry.

Because when I see Lucy and Natsu together, I'm going to smile.
