Is It You?! [NaLu FanFic]

21: Hi, Again.

Lucy's POV

I let go of my dad and turned to Natsu and Lisanna, forgetting that they were watching the entire time. "S-Sorry, you had to listen to all of that." I stammered, feeling embarrassed about my sappy life story.

Lisanna smiled, "Its ok, that really touched my heart."

I glanced over at Natsu, "Lucy...." He grumbled with disgust plastered on his face. "You liar!!" He boomed; shooting up out of his seat and slamming on the doors as he exited the library.

"N-Natsu-kun!" Lisanna cried as she got up to chase after him.

"Natsu-kun?" A whimpered. I turned around to face my father, "Sorry, dad. I know we finally see each other and stuff but I have to go!" I gave him one last hug and pushed the doors open to exit the library, hoping to catch up to Natsu and Lisanna.

What have I lied to him about? I have been truthful to him since I met him.. Except for the whole 'meeting him 10 years ago' thing but-

Shit! How could I have forgotten! My dad just told most of my story out loud to both Lisanna and Natsu! There's no way Natsu just let that fly by..

As I kept running through the hallway, My vision became cloudy and moist.. Am I really crying about this? I keep running, even though I don't have the ability to see as clearly.

"L-Lu-" is what managed to be said before I feel my body run into something that falls down as I do. The voice just sounds too familiar, but I can make out who it is..

"Natsu?" I ask, sitting up.

I feel a pair of hands cup my face, wiping away the tears in my eyes with their thumbs. I open my eyes once again, and I'm stunned..

"L-Loke-nii!!" I bursts out as I lay my eyes on his spiky orange hair and his pair of glasses.

He smiled at me, care evident in his eyes. "Lucy.." He pulled me into a hug, caressing my head, "I've missed you too much."

He softened his grip as I pull away gently, "I've missed you too, Loke-nii." I smiled back at him, looking at the face I've missed for months.

"You've gotten so beautiful.." He mumbled, cupping my face with his hands again.

"Come on, Loke-nii, it's only been a month.." I stare in his eyes, which are locked on me.

"The month has felt like a year, I could barely survive.."

"L-Loke," I stammered, "What's with this, it's not something a brother should say to his sister.."

"You're not my sister." He chuckled. "Because from this day on, you're going to be my girlfriend!" His hands pulled my face towards his, and I felt his lips lay on mine.

I'm paralyzed. I-I'm to shocked to move.. Loke, my brother, the one I grew up with, is kissing me?! Even though we're not blood related, he's just my adopted brother. But even though! I think of him as my brother!! He's not my boyfriend!

I push his body away from mine, the impact throwing into the wall. "L-L-Loke!" I managed to get out, "W-Why?!"

"Lucy I'm in love with you!" He confessed walking away from the wall. "I've loved you since we met, since we were introduced as brother and sisters!" He justified, finding his hands to mine.

"And I want it to stay that way!" I shouted, "I want to be siblings!"

"Lucy..." He muttered, keeping his eyes locked on mine. "The reason I didn't want to go to the restaurant was because the last time, you held my hand the entire time.."

"What does that have to do with anything?" I giggled.

"Well, I don't know, you made a big deal about it before." He shugged as an embarrassed expression took over his face

"You're still the same Loke, aren't you?" He smiled as I let go of his hands.

"Listen Lucy.. If you don't love me back, then I respect that." He said sincerely. "But, can you tell me a reason why?"

"Because you're my brother." I say, putting emphasis on 'brother'

"Come on," he chuckled, "there has to be another reason."

I hesitated before saying anything else. I thought about it. But it finally came to mind. "Because I met The Special Someone. The one that gave me the umbrella that I treasure."

Loke's eyes widened, his face full of shock, "A-And you-..?" He stammered.

I nodded my head calmly, "I've fallen in love with him."

"I-I see.." He said, his expression calming.

"About that," I suddenly mention, "I really need to find him right now!" I run past Loke, continuing down the hallway.

"W-wait!" Loke shouts as I hear is footsteps chasing behind me. But I don't turn back.

Natsu's POV

"I don't care if she lied anymore.." I whispered to myself, my back pressed into the wall. I eavesdropped on that entire thing.

I need to confess to her before I loose her again! And this time, I'm going to kiss her, grabbing onto her heart.

As I peek out the hallway, I feel a gentle grip wrap around my wrist. "Don't chase after her.."

LoLu? HAHAHA no. HOW COULD YOU LOKE?!

So, apparently this book is ending pretty soon? I mean, we've got a broken heart of Loke's, and A motivated Natsu. Yup.

Also I think I'm going to drop the whole idea for the Soul Eater book. MAYBE. Because I have a plan for another NaLu fanfic and a normal romance story. So yup.
