20: Talents and Healing

Lucys POV

I pull away from him, "It wasn't me."

Natsu's eyes widen, "It wasn't?"

I shake my head. "No. I'm sorry.."

His expression calmens as he smiles. "I'm the one that should be sorry.. It's just that.. You REALLY look like her.." His cheeks start becoming as pink as his hair, "and uh.. Because of that I've kinda developed feelings for you.."

I feel the heat rising up onto my cheeks. "Well, I know I may not be her.. But I wish you luck in the finding."

He smiles at me brightly, "Thanks, Lucy."

I'm about to smile back, until my head starts feeling heavy. I feel like I'm about to throw up.. I close my eyes shut, hoping to relieve some pain. Instead a vision became clear in my head.

"It's going to rain, Natsu." I burst out, somehow not able to control what I'm saying.

"Huh?" He shrieks all of a sudden. "Crap, I should run-"

"Wait, Natsu. I have an umbrella." I mention, grabbing onto his arm before he could run away. I zip open my backpack add reach into the pocket, where my blue umbrella with blue trimmings usually sat. I wrapped my fingers around it and reached it out for Natsu to take.

"Just, give it back someday. I sorta treasure this umbrella." And with that, I turned around and started walking away.

Natsu's POV

Not a coincidence.

She treasures this umbrella. An blue umbrella with white trimmings. Why would she treasure this umbrella? Because it was given to her by her hero.

The hero was me. I'm The one who saved her at a lake in Eastern Magnolia. I would never forget this umbrella.

It was her. Lucy is the one I'm supposed to marry.

Why would she lie to me? Or did she just forget?

Or she doesn't love me back?

I'm acting like such a girl...

I sighed and opened the umbrella. It already started to rain,

"W-what.." I stammer as I enter the classroom.

"What is it, Natsu-kun?" Both Lisanna and Lucy ask in sync.

"You two are friends now?!" I ask full of shock as I point at them holding hands.

"Yeah." Lisanna grunts, "Have a problem with enemies becoming friends?" They both glare at me through hostility.

"N-No!!" I assure, scampering down into my seat.

"Natsu, I suggest you be careful." Lucy blurts out suddenly. "Gray's going to be here to beat you up.

"Ah, ok. But I don't need to be careful, I'm just going to beat the crap out of him before he beats the crap out of me!" I justify with all my determination burning up inside me.

I hear Lisanna giggle behind me. "Gray shouldn't tell his plans to anyone, especially Natsu's bestie, right Lucy?"

"Actually.." Lucy murmurs, "Gray didn't tell me anything. A vision in my mind just showed that he'd be here.."

"Oh." Lisanna mutters, "Well, it's just a vision right? It's not like it's really going to happen."

Lucy shook her head at Lisanna, "I've had these visions for quite a while now. As far as I can remember, they've always happened." Lucy explains, smiling at the both of us.
