The birds chirped and the sun began to rise in another beautiful day in the Village Hidden in The Leaves, people were beginning to fill the streets with life and stands to open. Everything seemed to be peaceful and quiet, for a while...
"NARUTO!!! WAKE UP!!"
"GAAHH!"
"Mattaku... I can't believe you forgot about today..." sighed [Name], holding her forehead.
She had gone to wake him up for the last day they would go to the Academy, only to find him still sleeping soundly. Unfortunately for Naruto, that meant that her scary side came out. He still couldn't get used to the fact that such a sweet girl could have such a personality.
Rubbing his red cheek, he laughed, "Gomen, gomen. It completely crossed my mind."
"Seriously. Today is the orientation meeting, you know." growled the girl, knowing how much he was looking forward to this day and that he couldn't miss it no matter what, "What would you have done if you missed it, baka?"
"I know I could have counted on you."
His innocent response made the princess blush, to what Naruto looked at her strangely. He really had no idea the effect his words had on her, I'm so happy right now.
"O-Of course you can always count on me. I'll never leave your side after all."
That was their promise, their vow. No matter what, they were not going to leave the other behind.
They were not going to die.
Once they got to the Academy, the blonde turned into a cheery mess, sitting all joyfully and smiling nonstop. Even showing off his headband when others questioned why he was there.
"Yo, Hinata!" greeted [Name] once she saw the Hyuga girl, who greeted back shyly, "O-Ohayou, [Name]-chan."
After the princess joined the Academy, she and Hinata became friends soon after. Of course, no one would be as close to her as the Uzumaki, but the reserved female was definitely a great friend.
The chatter between them came to an end when the huge noise of what seemed like a stampede neared the classroom.
"GOAL!!!"
Hearing her 'angelic' voice, Naruto turned towards the pink haired girl with a small blush. Noticing it, [Name] glared heatedly at the girl, a murderous aura around her, making Hinata chuckled slightly.
"What does he see in her? I don't get it." the princess grumped, not taking her eyes off the blonde.
"Have you asked him?" wondered Hinata, [Name]'s words getting muffled as she laid her head on the table, "Yeah. He just blabbered about how she was so pretty and smart."
The Hyuga smiled, trying to reassure her, "I'm sure Naruto-kun has his reasons, and I believe he likes you more than he does her. After all, Naruto-kun seems to be the happiest around you, [Name]-chan."
Her [Eye Color] orbs widened, red coating her face as she thought about it, Naruto liking me more than Sakura. If that was the case then I would still have a chance. When it came to her personal problems, Hinata was always the one she could best count on.
"Arigato, Hinata!"
Meanwhile, Naruto had been pushed off his seat by Sakura whom only cared for the male right beside, Uchiha Sasuke. Turning into a blushing mess, the green eyed ninja greeted Sasuke, him only staring at her coldly, "O-Ohayo, Sasuke-kun... Mind if I sit next to you?"
"Hey!" interrupted Ino, "I'm going to sit next to Sasuke-kun!"
Cue to both females beginning to fight over who would sit by him, then most girls in the room joined the quarrel. They didn't even notice that Sasuke could care less about them, How annoying...
