That Summer Day

Chapter 7

  Sakura Restuarant

     (Everyone met up at the lobby and headed to the restaurant to eat lunch. Course couples seat together again ;) Vylad sat in between Kawaii Chan and Laurence. Also, this is Vylad chapter)

    They arrived at the restaurant and took seats. Then they started ordering food and talking about what they were going to do.

Vylad POV

    I took the menu the waiters gave us and looked through it. There are so many choices, I just cannot pick one. They all look so good! I mean I could order more but that would be a waste of money and I might become fat. So let's see...I think should order Ramen! The soup that goes with the noodles always taste good! I ordered mine already and sat there waiting for the others.

   Aphmau was explaining what she plans for us to do while Aaron helps her pick food. She says that we would have free time this afternoon. The next day will be a trip to the theme park, sounds fun. The following day, we will go to the beach. Well, that's what she has for now. She'll add more stuff to the list later. I think I'm going to have fun here, all the attractions they have here seem to be fun. 

    On the way here, I heard a rumour (Very important for Vylad's plot so take note!) that there was this forest at the far corner of the island that nobody has been to before. Those who do never came back. Now, I don't know if that is true but I would love to check it out! 

    After they ordered, my food came shortly after. I was eating and looked to the side. Zane and Kawaii Chan talking, nothing interesting there. I looked over to the other side and looked at Garroth and Laurence. Now, there is something interesting. Garroth asked if Laurence was hungry and if so then he can have this sweet he was holding in his hand. Laurence thanked him and accepted his offer. Garroth was so happy. That was nice to watch. 

  I wanted to turn back and resume eating but my shoulder suddenly knocked over a glass of hot water and the water poured onto Kawaii Chan's dress, scalding her in the progress. She gave a tiny yelp.

    Immediately after that Zane started scolding me. I've never seen him this angry before, it was a little terrifying. They went to the bathroom to clean up. For the rest of the time, I kept quiet. I cannot believe that I did that, I should have looked around before turning back. Now I have just made a mess and embarrassed myself. I gobbled down my food and excused myself. I headed outside and decided to walk around a little. 

HollowSprings 

    The place was spectacular! There so many trees and animals around here. Most of the residents here have pets, I even spotted someone having a Golden Retriever! I would want one too. Where should go? I had free time in the afternoon and I ought to find something to do. That's when I heard music coming from someplace nearby.  There was a band playing on stage. I went over to check out. 

"Are you guys ready to party?" the girl that seemed to be the leader shouted.

   The audience replied with a loud 'Yes'. I squeezed to the front and joined the crowd. Apparently, they were called 'Daydreamers'. What a cool name. The girl started singing the song 'Summer Forever'. That song was in my top 10 favourites, hearing it being sung by another person was a new thing to me. Her voice was like angels and I loved so much. Right then and there, I decided to become one of her fans and make her my idol. 

   How was she able to sing like that? This was a talent of hers that I enjoyed. I swayed along with the music and the audience did so too. Her voice was way better than the original singer. After that song, she proceeded to sing other popular songs and some songs of her own. I listened throughout the whole performance. 

   When she ended, everyone started clapping for her. Once everyone had left, I walked up to her.

"Hey..."

"Hey, you must be one of my fans."

"Yeah...I just joined. I think your singing was amazing!"

"Thanks! Since you've just joined let me tell you something."

"Never give up on your dreams no matter what."

"That's such an inspirational quote. I'll remember it!"

"Uh...Can I have your autograph? I don't have any paper right now so I guess you can sign on my hand."

"Sure."

   She signed on my hand and gave me a smile before she left. That smile somehow brightened up my day and gave me hope for the future. That was when I realised that I forgot to ask her name but unfortunately she already left. I checked my watch and found out that it was getting late. I cannot believe that time passed so quickly. I should head back or else the others would get worried.
