That Summer Day

Bonus Chapter 2

At the masquerade party...

    Melissa calmed herself down and headed out; she could see Lucinda talking with the bartender while drinking some wine. Lucinda saw Melissa walking towards her.

"Hey, you okay? Want a drink?" (Lucinda)

"Yeah..." (Melissa)

"Want some wine?" (Lucinda)

"Nah." (Melissa)

"Orange juice?" (Lucinda)

"Okay." (Melissa)

   Melissa got her drink, and they both drank their drinks silently.

"Hey..." (Melissa)

"Yeah?" (Lucinda)

"Sorry...For earlier...I couldn't see..." (Melissa)

"It's okay, Mel! At least we're both fine now. Can't believe someone would do that. I bet it's one the people we pranked and now they're getting revenge." (Lucinda)

"Thanks..." (Melissa)

    As Melissa drank her juice, Lucinda thought what will be her next move. Ah-ha!I know how I can get closer to her. A sleepover is what I need! I'm going to find an opportunity to sleep next to her! Lucinda, you are so clever!

"Hey, is it okay if I come over to your house for a sleepover? Since you and I have nothing better to do anyway." (Lucinda)

   Melissa hesitated for a moment before replying. I mean it's a harmless sleepover, right? Nothing's going to happen, right?  Yeah, it'll be fine...

"Uh...Sure..." (Melissa)

"Great! We're going to have so much fun together!" (Lucinda)

    They headed back to Melissa's house and changed. Lucinda wants to use Melissa's clothes even though she can teleport and get her clothes back home. Lucinda persuaded Melissa to lend her clothes to her.

"Come on, Melissa! Please!" (Lucinda)

"Can't you like teleport or something and get your clothes back home?" (Melissa)

"Melissa! Please! I don't want to!" (Lucinda)

   After much persuasion, Melissa finally lends Lucinda her clothes. Lucinda cheered in victory. Lucinda and Melissa went to change.

"Man! I love your pyjamas! They're so soft and comfortable and warm!" (Lucinda)

"Don't get too comfortable..." (Melissa)

"So! What are we going to do?" (Lucinda)

"Anything you want, I guess...I don't know what to do." (Melissa)

"Sure! I'll be the host! Let's play a few games, and then we watch a movie!" (Lucinda)

"Sure." (Melissa)

   The two played some games, and they had a lot of fun. After playing some games, they sat together in the living on the sofa and watched a movie. Lucinda picked a horror movie, and they watched. Lucinda jumped at one point and grabbed hold of Melissa's hand.

"Eek!" (Lucinda) 

    Melissa got a little shocked at first and looked down at Lucinda, grabbing her hand. Her face almost turned red.

"U-uh...Hey, you can let go of me now..." (Melissa)

"Oh...sorry." (Lucinda)

   Lucinda let go, and they continued to watch the movie. First step complete! Omg, I held her hand, and I think I saw her blush, eek! BEST DAY EVER!  Almost at the end of the movie, Lucinda felt something heavy on her. She looked down and saw Melissa fast asleep in her lap. Omg! Is this really happening? Looks like not doing anything can solve anything!  Lucinda rubbed Melissa's head. Her hair is so soft... Lucinda carried Melissa to her room. Man, you're heavy!  

  She placed Melissa on one side of the bed, against the bed frame and crawled onto the bed and sat beside her. She stares at Melissa sleeping. You look so cute!  One day, I'll make this official, and then every day I'll get to see you and sleep with you. 

"Lucy..." (Melissa)

"Huh? You okay, Mel?" (Lucinda)

   Suddenly, Melissa fell into Lucinda's arms and leaned against her chest.

"Whoa!" (Lucinda)

   That was something... Lucinda left her in the position and leaned back on the bed frame. You are so warm and comfy. Lucinda fell asleep minutes later, wrapping her arms around Melissa, who was sleeping on her chest. (MAn, I think I just made it a little TOo ChEsSy here)
