Melcinda

Melissa's eyes fluttered open to find herself leaning against Lucinda's chest. She screamed, bent backwards and fell off the bed. Lucinda woke up at the sound of her screaming and saw her on the floor.

"Whoa! What happened?"

"W-we...Didn't do anything last night, r-right?"

"Pfffft! Wow! You have a big imagination! As if I would ever do that, I'm your best friend, and I know my limits."

"Whew! That's good."

"Anyways, got anything to eat? I'm starving."

As soon as Lucinda said that, she headed downstairs to look for some food. Melissa got up, her head hurt a little, but she was alright. Melissa could vaguely remember what happened last night. Was it something about a movie? I remember I slept on something soft and warm...Wait a minute! Am I saying that Lucinda's chest is soft and warm? No way! You're acting creepy Melissa! Stop it! But, it was kind of nice to sleep on...Nope! Nope!  Melissa got those thoughts out of her head and went downstairs to meet with Lucinda. The little witch was looking through the fridge for something to eat.

"Um...Why don't you use magic to create food?"

"Yes I can do that, but I prefer to do the old fashioned way, plus I want to conserve my magic for emergencies."

"Ah, I see."

Lucinda then got out some bread, butter, cheese and milk. The two sat down at the dining table, created their breakfast by hand and started digging into it.

"Mmmm! This is delicious! You've got good bread and cheese here! Milk too!" Lucinda said between mouthfuls.

Melissa chuckled, " Don't eat with your mouth full!"

After Lucinda swallowed down her breakfast, she looked at Melissa weirdly. Then she started getting closer to her making Melissa's face slowly turn red.

"U-um..."

She closed her eyes tightly, and Lucinda suddenly used a finger and flicked something off her face. Melissa opened her eyes and saw Lucinda smiling.

"There we go! Just now, there was a tiny piece of crumb on your face, so I got it off for you!"

"Wait...Why is your face red? DID YOU REALLY THINK I'D KISS YOU?!"

"No!"

Melissa turned away, and Lucinda giggled to herself. Her plan was working, and she was one step closer to her goal. The more time they spend together, the more their relationship will progress. It will a success! Lucinda had gotten it all planned out. She was thinking of bringing Melissa out to the Arcade today.

"So, I thought that we should head to the Arcade today. What do you think?"

"Sounds fine to me."

Lucinda was proud of her victory, step one to the Arcade worked. She did not think Melissa would accept her invitation so easily. Anyways, thanks to her parents, she was able to do so much with Melissa. Lucinda should thank them someday when they return. So after breakfast, they got suited up, and Lucinda teleported them to the Arcade with her magic. As soon as the two got there, Lucinda pulled Melissa along to try all the Arcade games. When you have an unlimited amount of money, you can do anything.

Lucinda and Melissa had a lot of fun playing the games. Suddenly Lucinda saw some claw machines. (And yes, there is no better way than to give stuff toys cuz I'm running out of ideas) Lucinda told Melissa she would be right back and headed over to a claw machine where it stored a bunch of wolf plushies. Using her claw machine skills (which were very bad by the way) and magic skills, she caught one and gave it to Melissa.

"Here! The little thing looks just like you!"

"Wow...Thanks, Lucinda. I love it."

"No problem! Now, let's try some more games and earn more prizes!"

The two tried more games, and they won tickets that can be exchanged for prizes. As they went to exchange rewards, Melissa accidentally knocked into someone. That, someone, was also not a very friendly person.

"Hey! Watch where you are going!"

Then he looked down at his scratched watch.

"Look what you did to my watch! This cost hundreds of dollars, you know?!"

"I-I'm sorry...I didn't mean to!"

"Pay me back!"

"Hey, you! She already apologised, leave her alone!" (Lucinda)

"Well, not if she doesn't pay me back!"

"Here! I've got the money! Take it and don't harass her again!

The boy left with the bag, saying that they were lucky. Lucinda helped Melissa up. Melissa thanked Lucinda for the help, saying that she was fearless. Lucinda said that it was not that big of a deal and they were friends, so Lucinda was right in helping her out of that situation. She also noted that spoiled brats like him always like to make things big out of something small.

Later, they managed to exchange their tickets. Lucinda got a book about white magic (Surprisingly they have one in this arcade in case any good witches or wizards come by). Melissa got a notebook that comes along with a pen. She was planning to start a diary. When they have obtained the prizes they want, they teleported home.

Melissa went into her room and started writing while Lucinda was in the living room, flipping through the pages of her new magic book. She could learn lots of spells from this; she might even ask Melissa to test some out for her 😏.  The witch and werewolf did their own things.

(What would Melissa write? Would Lucinda discover this secret? Maybe, maybe not. Thanks everyone for waiting and supporting me throughout this journey. I will try and upload another bonus chapter soon, in the meantime. Give me ideas on what the two should do next cause I'm running out of ideas.)
