During the holidays, Melissa was pretty busy with all the work she had to do. Her parents left for a business trip and she was left in charge of the office. However, she manages to find someone reliable to take over her position and took leave.

"Finally! I have all the time to myself!" Melissa said as she slumped onto the sofa.
She looks around and realises she is the only in the house, her parents are gone and Aaron went on vacation with Aphmau and her friends. Feeling bored, she decides to call up her best friend Lucinda.

"Hello?"
*Background noises*
"Lucy?"
"Hold on! Give me a minute!"
*More background noises*
"There we go!"
"Hello! Sorry for keeping you waiting. What do you need?"
"Hey, Lucy! It's me, Melissa!"
"Oh! Hey Mel! What's up?"
"I took a leave and I was wondering if you could come over and hang out? My parents are on a business trip and Aaron's on vacation."
"Sure thing! I'll be right there!"
"Okay, see you later!"

Just after she hangs up, Lucinda appears.
"Hey, Mel!"
"Lucy!"
They both gave each other a warm hug.
"So! Since you are on leave, I heard that there will be a masquerade party tonight in the neighbourhood and I was thinking we should go check it out! Plus, we get to prank some people there 😈. All we have to wear is a formal dress and a mask. Sounds pretty cool right?"
"It does sound interesting...But the party is tonight, what are we going to do now?"
"Shopping, of course!"
Almost immediately, Lucinda teleports her and Melissa to a nearby shop and she brings Melissa on a shopping spree. They picked each picked a dress and a mask. Lucinda chose an orange dress and a purple mask while Melissa chose a gold mask and a green dress. They had fun shopping together and even bought some other stuff in the shop. Once they bought whatever they needed, they checked down and teleported back.
"Oh wait! I forgot to get something! brb!"
Lucinda teleports away and comes back with a handful of potions.
"Now we can start planning!"
"For what exactly?"
"How to prank people, of course!"
