That Summer Day

Chapter 10

 (Also this is Zane-Chan Chapter, next chapter will be rest of ships and Vylad. ^_^)

Back at the hotel, In the lobby...

-Everyone-

 (Everyone was back, Aphmau counted the numbers and found out they were missing one person. That was when they realised Vylad was missing)

"Where's Vylad?" Aphmau questioned.

"Oh god...It's all my fault...He must have been mad and-" Zane mumbled

"Don't say that Zane-kun! I'm sure your brother is fine, you just got a little angry earlier that's all." Kawaii Chan assured him.

"Yeah, Zane. Kawaii Chan is right! I'm sure he'll be back. Plus, he isn't one to get angry that easily."Garroth chimed in.

(In the middle of the conversation, Vylad returned panting)

"Look! There's Vylad" Laurence pointed at the boy running towards them.

"H-Hi Guys...S-sorry I was late...I got so caught up with-" Vylad said while panting.

"Oh My God! Do you know how worried we were? We thought you were..." Zane shook Vylad violently as he blabbered off. 

"Sorry?" (Vylad)

"Where did you go?" Aphmau asked.

"Oh! Did you know that there was this concert almost at the corner of this island? The band were playing some songs and I got attracted. The Female Lead was so cool! I even got her autograph on my hand! My hand!" Vylad exclaimed excitedly.

"Looks like someone's excited about a girl..." Garroth trailed off.

"Hey! It's not like I like her or anything, I just treat her as my favourite idol." Vylad explained

"Yeah right...Anyways, it's getting late. We should head back to our rooms now." Zane said.

(So, everyone went back to their rooms. Also, Zane apologised for what he did and Vylad forgave him)

-Zane-Chan-

    The two returned to their room and Zane went to shower first. Kawaii Chan sat on the bed and waited for him to finish. A few minutes later, Zane came out of the shower. And what a sight did Kawaii Chan saw. It was Zane shirtless and without his mask, showing the freckled he had.

"U-uh...Y-you don't mind me like this. D-do you?" Zane said blushing a little.

"N-no! Not at all! It's j-just...I've never seen you without your mask before and um...l-like this..." Kawaii Chan mumbled.

"It's my first time doing this in front of someone...I don't know why but I just felt like doing this in front of you...I hope you don't mind..."

"I-it's fine, really!"

"T-thanks...And um...It's your turn now..." 

"Ah right..."

  Kawaii Chan headed into the bathroom and showered. Zane did not know what made him like this he just felt like he could do this only in front of Kawaii Chan. Kawaii Chan finished showering moments later, wearing an oversized white jacket with a pink heart in the middle with some shorts. 

"Y-you look n-nice."

   This time both hearts were beating fast and blushing hard. A moment of silence fell between them.

"T-thanks..." Kawaii Chan finally said.

   Both of them sat on the bed. A distance apart from each other. This was their first time showing their true selves to each other. Zane sat there quietly. Thinking for a long time. He decided to tell Kawaii Chan his true feelings, how she made him feel and that she would always be his one in a million.

"H-hey...I want to tell you something..."

"Yeah?"

"Um...I've had a crush on you ever since that 'incident'. I don't know why but I just felt that way and-" 

   Before he even had time to finish, he was kissed by Kawaii Chan. Zane was startled at first but went along with the flow and kissed back. They had a long deep kiss. When they parted, Kawaii Chan started talking.

"I-I love you too..."

   They smiled and were relieved. They finally did it. They confessed their feelings to one another. A moment later, Kawaii Chan started commenting on Zane's freckles. (This sentence for you to understand what happens next in case you don't :P)

"You know? You look cute with those freckles."

"I do?"

"Yeah! You should take your mask off and stay this way. I think everyone will like it, that is if you don't want to...Then I won't pressure you."

"Maybe...I could try for one day if that's what you want...And I never show anyone my freckles before other than my brothers so it's worth a try I guess."

"Really?"

"Uh, Yeah."

"I'm so proud of you Zane!" Kawaii Chan said and gave Zane a peck on the cheek, making him blush a little. 

    Now, not having to be awkward to each other anymore. They started having a long conversation with each other.  They talked about their interests, Zane's brothers, Aphmau and Katelyn and so much more. Afterwards, they decided to watch a movie. Kawaii Chan got the first pick and chose a horror movie. When watching the movie, Kawaii Chan jumped a little at the scary parts, sometimes even grabbing Zane's hand for support. The two had a fun night together. A few hours later, the movie was over. Kawaii Chan yawned.

"You tired?" Zane asked.

"No...I'm fine..." Kawaii Chan mumbled and yawned again.

"Are you sure? You can sleep on me if you want to."

"N-no...I-i'm.." 

    Kawaii Chan leaned onto Zane's shoulder and fell asleep, purring softly beside him. 

"Who said who wasn't tired?" (I realised I used this in one of the previous chapters, man sorry for reusing it (o-0))

   Zane smiled. He was getting tired too. Zane leaned his head onto hers and he drifted off to sleep. What a wonderful night the two had. And I am sure it was a night they would remember.
