Check out my art book guys! If you want. Do it. But you totally don't have to. No pressure. You should do it.

"Forget this game." Lance told him. "We can do something else."
The flames guarding the smaller boy dimmed and died down as he dug his nails into the palms of his hands. An action that didn't go unnoticed by Lance. "We can swim in the pond behind us. It's kinda deep though." The water boy suggested. "Or we can do what you want." He added. Keith nodded. "Swim. Let's swim. Though I don't know how to." "That's okay. I can help you. It'll be fun once you learn." Lance smiled making Keith smile in return. The emotions before dispelled and pushed deep down.

Standing up and stripping off his pale blue clothes, Lance dived in. Keith stood up and waited for Lances soft brown hair to pop out of the water. Well he didn't know for sure if it was soft or not but it looked that way. He waited for a minute, a warm breeze blowing his orangish-red clothes. While waiting patiently for the tanned male to return he tied a tight knot in the side of his toga, making it less lose; pulling it tight. The toga rode up his thigh on one side, showing more of his feverish, white skin.
Keith lingered.

Awaiting Lances return, he grew more worried with every passing tick. He tiptoed to the edge of the cool rock. "L-Lance?" He crouched down looking in the water for any sign of the other. He furrowed his eyebrows worriedly. "Lance are you okay?" Still no answer.

Keith extended his arm out. Touching the water gingerly at first with the tips of his fingers; testing the feeling. It was warm yet cool—unlike Lance's skin, which was more cold, Keith thought in his head. He submerged his fingers. Next he submerged his entire hand, continuing to his forearm. Expecting pain he flinched with each level entered into the blue waters. A pleasurable feeling swam through his veins; beginning in his fingers and shooting up his arm. He remembered the feeling from when Lance embraced him the other day. A bit of steam came off of the water as he moved his arm around feeling for Lance.

"Lance? L-Lance?" He felt something cold brush against his wrist. Before Keith had a chance to take another breath, the ice cold hand gripped his slender wrist and jerked him from the rock into the large body of lukewarm water. Keith's eyes were squeezed shut and he made a big bubble in his cheeks. The water around him boiled and steamed. He opened his eyes to the man he'd been missing. "Are you alright?" Lance asked, holding Keith's wrist with one hand and his waist with the other. "Sorry. I didn't mean to worry you. The waters are just so...I don't know..."
Keith smiled from relief. Lance was okay. Everything was okay. Lance was talking underwater and Keith wondered if he himself could do that. He opened his mouth to try, getting nothing but a mouthful of water. No words. Just water. Keith slapped a hand over his mouth and nose not wanting to lose any more oxygen than what he just lost.

"Ah! You can't talk underwater; I can talk because I'm the water elemental," Lance clarified. Keith's face flush a pink color in the bright blue water. He was embarrassed because he stupidly opened his mouth to talk. Keith thought Lance saw him as the biggest idiot in the world. He didn't know as much as everyone else. Didn't know the names of simple animals. Barley knew the alphabet. He didn't want Lance to think he was stupid, even if Keith knew that he was.

"Aw. Don't be embarrassed—you didn't know! There's nothin' to be embarrassed about." Lance smiled. It made Keith's heart swell like a balloon and ache. Keith couldn't help but smile. It was uncontrollable. Lance's cold hands swam to Keith's cheeks, shocking him with the icy coldness. A cold chill shook roughly throughout Keith's body. His body locked up. Legs shut tight and tucked underneath him; shoulders tensed as his fingers gripped and dug into the water elemental's shoulders. The iridescence of the tips of Keith's hair began to dim. His body temperature lowering. Black hair filled the space above their heads and looked like the deep black ink of an octopus. Lance was captivated by the length and intensity. Another strong flicker throughout his body and his temperature was back and boiling. Though his air had depleted.

Lance used his abilities. The freezing energy glided through his veins. Water swirled around Keith's head in a wild spell of commotion. His black hair swirled because of the wave of movement around him. The motion was in the shape of a bubble, streaks of light illuminated and warmed the water. The bubble was chaos and the fire elemental wasn't sure what was happening.

A moment later everything was still. A pocket of air opened in the bubble. It was just a regular air bubble. The water had drained in the air ball. Keith's hair continued to float above him, while the bubble around his face allowed him to breathe.

Keith panted for a second; the fear of drowning subsiding from his chest, letting him breathe easier. Lance's arctic hands removing from his face and transferring to his waist. Keith stared into Lance's royal, aqua blue eyes.
He felt safe. He felt calm. He felt something he couldn't even describe. Lance was looking at him too. Eye to eye. Lavender to aqua. He was holding Keith close, nearly chest to chest. Something thundered and roared in Keith's chest and suddenly he was feeling bashful. A pink stain washed over his cheeks and didn't stop there. The stain covered the tips of his ears, the entire of his forehead, back of his neck, and tops of hands. The feeling continued to bump and bang in his chest. Keith was hyper-aware of Lance's hands on his waist.

Lance gave his lopsided smile. "Shall we swim?" He asked gentlemanly, removing only one hand from Keith's waist. Lance maneuvered himself to Keith's side, keeping a firm hand on the others waist. Keith nodded a small 'yes' and let Lance lead. "Alrighty! Tell me if it gets hard to breathe! Okay?" "M'kay." Keith smiled. "Woooo!" Lance exclaimed, "I love swimming!" Keith giggled slightly behind him. "Me too, Lance." "Whaaa? You haven't even started yet! You ain't seen nothin yet!" Keith giggled again as they began swimming. Lance felt himself smile a bit at the monster's little laugh and thought to himself,

"Bliss."
