" Hiya" Jazz chirped from the other end of the phone.

" Hey Jazz" I replied.

" What are you doing?" She asked.

" Science homework" I said bored.

" Wait we had homework?"

" Your hopeless"

" Whatever, did you see that new guy?"

" Yeah, he's pretty good looking"

" Oh my god I know right, think he'd ever date me?"

" Woah calm down, he's been at school one day"

" I know" She said I could almost see her pout.

" I got to go see ya" I said

" Yeah bye" She said. I put down the phone and returned to my homework and yes I actually was doing it for a change. Not that I don't like good grades and generally I got good ones but homework was so tedious.

I finished it up and put it up on my shelf. It was due tomorrow so I left it and grabbed my bag. I rushed downstairs. Ryan and Luke were arguing over one of Ryan's snap backs Luke was claiming it was his.... Brothers! I thought to myself. I grabbed some cereal and sat at the table. I ate in silence while I listened to Ryan and Luke exchange insults.

Once at school I met up with Jay, Charlie and Jazz. Rikki had apparently gone to the office to arrange a timetable change. We just hung around talking about random stuff because the bell hadn't gone yet. I wasn't really paying attention to the conversation. But then most of the time they just talked nonsense. When k the bell finally rang I was shocked back to reality.

" Someone's out of it today" Jazz commented.

" Shut up" I joked. I grabbed Jazz and pulled her to class. We had English first and our teacher Mrs Ollis was one of the nicest teachers, she always let us use our phones in class for " educational" purposes. Today was our first proper English lesson as we had had a reliever yesterday so we hadn't been sorted into seats. Mrs Ollis greeted the class with a smile and told us to look on the desks to find our name and that would be where we would sit for the rest of term. I looked around and finally found me name in between Grace, a girl I didn't really know at all, and Austin the new kid. I sat down and got out my book.

" Sup gorgeous" Said a male voice beside me, I turned to see Austin resting his head on his hand, smirking.

" Um, Hi" I said uncertainly.

" Damn your hot, how about you come over to mine later?" He winked. I was shocked. Ok so at first I thought he was hot but then he opens his mouth and he's a player...... Seriously??!! .

" Sorry, I don't do well with your type" I said sarcastilly.

" My type?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

" Yeah players"

" Whatever you'll come around" He chuckled.

" Ugh get over yourself" I turned back to my book. He was silent next to me. good that shut him up. I caught Jazz staring, she saw me noticing and raised her hands and shrugged as if to say " Why the f**k did you do that" I laughed at her expression.

" I'll tell you at break" I mouthed at her. She seemed to understand and nodded slightly. My other friends hadn't seemed to notice. They were waging a three-way reenactment of World War 2 using paper balls and it looked like Charlie was winning."Why did Mrs Ollis have to seat us so far apart" I thought to myself. At this rate I would be with Austin for the rest of term.

" God help me" I thought as Austin winked at Sarah Reece in the group in front of us, making her giggle. I looked down in disgust and returned to my book.

At break I hung out with all my friends, we were doing the usual stuff for us. Jay Charlie and I were thinking up a new prank to play on the teacher we hated the most.... Mr Linkin our Science teacher. We had tried everything... litterily. We decided to just stick to putting tacks in his chair and changing the time on his computer so he let us out early or just got confused. Rikki was looking though music on Jazz's phone, while Jazz spotted the hottest guys. I laughed at her attempts to get the attention of Damian Jetson, the school hottie... He was year 13.

" Nice try" I joked when Jazz subtly sent a wink his way. He didn't notice, but Finn Cole the weirdo of our grade did. he grinned and winked back.. Jazz reeled back laughing her head off at her own mistake.

" Think you got a new fan" I laughed as Finn continued to stare.

" F**k my life" She sighed face palming.

" LANGUAGE!" Charlie yelled mocking stamping his foot. Jazz giggled and smacked his arm.

" Like your any better" She joked.

" Alrighty b*tch" He said, going all dramatic.

" See what I mean" She gestured to him.

" You asked for it" He warned before tackling her to the ground. She fell to the grass and burst out laughing as Charlie mock punched her. Me, Jay, and Rikki laughed too at the expression on Charlie's face. He looked like he was going to cut a b*tch. He then rolled over onto his back and started cracking up. Jazz got up and punched his arm.

" Gosh my friends are idiots" I thought to myself as Jazz helped Charlie up from the ground.

Sorry this chapter is quiet short but yeah it gets more exciting soon!
