The best Holiday ever

" WHAT??" I squealed. I couldn't contain my excitement. I Jumped into Jay's arms and wrapped my arms around him.

" Brooke... need. to .breathe" Jay panted. I unwrapped my arms and looked up at him. He was grinning widely. Jay held four tickets in his hands, one for me, one for Jay, one for Charlie, and one for Rikki. On the tickets it said Flight 136 Auckland to Los Angeles. I was finally going to the the place I had been dreaming about for most of my life.

" Thank you so much Jay" I said, smiling. He had said he wanted to go somewhere for the holidays, but I never expected it to be Los Angeles. It seemed to far away but now I would finally be able to see the  City of Angels. Rikki grinned widely. " We knew you'd love it" She laughed. We were all standing in Jay's room , we were getting ready for a sleepover and we had a whole stack of horror and comedy movies stacked up as well as a huge pile of junk food. It was the holidays in two days and we flew to L.A in two days and Jay said that we would stay there for the whole two weeks of holidays.

Jay handed us a ticket each and grabbed a drink from the bag.

Charlie lay down on the mattress that we had put on the floor. He grabbed a bar of chocolate and ate it. I sat on the bed. Rikki went into her bag and pulled out make-up.

" Ok," She annoched " I'm giving all of you make overs" She grinned evilly.

" Yay! Make over time" Jay said putting on a teen girl voice. I rushed over to help Rikki. I'm not good with make-up but that just made it better as I got to see how fabulous Jay looked with makeup on. I shooed Charlie out so Jay's new look would be a surprise. I got out Rikki's makeup and started to put it on Jays face.

By the time we had finished Jay looked like something that would give a grown man nightmares. We brought Charlie back into the room .

" What the fuck?" Charlie said slowly, his eyes widened. Then it registered . He burst out laughing and doubled over cracking up. Jay gave him a look that clearly said "Really". I laughed at his face. Charlie kept laughing.

" You know what man, fuck you" Jay said giving Charlie a glare. Charlie just laughed harder. We gave Jay a mirror. Jay pressed his lips together, then he burst out laughing.

" I look so freaking fabulous" He stated. I laughed at him.

" I'm so keeping this on" He said happily. He reached into our pile of movies and pulled out a movie. It was a comedy movie. He put it in the computer and settled under the blankets. I sat next to him between him and Rikki. The movie started and I liked it already. It was about a group of childhood friends who reunite and go on a hilarious vacation. I lay down on Jay's chest and slowly ate a packet of lollies.

We managed to stay awake all night... well most of us. Charlie fell asleep at about three in the morning and we painted his face green with dye and drew on his face.... rude things. I know its immature but thats how my friends are. Rikki wanted to sleep with Charlie so we let her and me and Jay shared the bed. We watched movies all night. When Charlie woke up he was so mad. He spent over half an hour in the bathroom trying to wash the dye off his face and only came out when we were already late for school. When he came out he still looked like an ogre.

We arrived at school an hour late and you can imagine all the trouble that caused. People kept staring at Charlie's face and he cursed us repeatedly. Once we got to second period people had got used to the face that we had an alien at our school.

The rest of the school day was boring and by the time I got home I was ready to sleep for days.
