Detention and White sand.

I got home and was greeted by two angry parents..great!

" We heard from school, would you like to explain what happened?" They asked. It obviously wasn't a question.

" Nah" I said making a B-line for the stairs.

" It wasn't a question" My dad said, grabbing my arm.... thought so.

" I threw a heart at a guy in Science and got detention" I said simply.

" I think it was more serious then that, try "assault on students", "defiant to teachers" and Mr Johanson was trying to get you suspended."Said dad, hands on hips.

" I'm sorry" I said innocently.

" Your grounded, its only for a week but you are doing double chores too."

" Sure" I say and head up to my room where I lay on my bed and think about what I did. I know I shouldn't have done it but he annoyed me so much.

The next day at school

It was final period and Me and Rikki were passing notes and Jay was making his best attempts to intercept and read them. So we started writing things like " Jay annoys me"... or " I hate Jay" He stopped then and pouted unhappily at us. I sent a note instead saying " Jay is da best" and he smiled again and air punched. When the bell rang he grabbed Me, Rik (Rikki), Jazz and Charlie,and pulled us out the door and into the courtyard.

" Come on, we should go to town" He suggested.

" Can't I have an after school" I sighed.

" Right ok. see ya. see if you can catch up to us later" He said before hugging me and running off with the others.

I went back to Science and sat down and waited for Mr Linkin to arrive and start detention.

" Hiya babe" Said a voice I knew too well. I looked around and spotted Austin walking in the door.

"  I'm not your babe, Why are you here?" I asked him.

" Umm. Punched Thomas while you were at the principal yesterday" he explained looking down.

" Wow, Your almost as bad as me" I laughed.

" Well. Almost" He said.

" Yeah, Mr is really late" I pointed out.

" We could just ditch" He suggested.

" You wanna wag a detention?" I asked slowly, slightly shocked.

" Yeah, why not?"

" I don't know, by the way I saw you ditch yesterday"

" I know, I saw you too"

" Creep"

He started to walk to the door " You comin?' He asked. I got up and followed him out and I don't know why but anything is better then an after-school with Mr Linkin.

" Where are we going?" I asked.

" Well imma grab some pizza and then we are going to the beach"

I followed him out and over the field, when we got to the gate he walked out and no one noticed. We walked into town he went to my favorite pizza place. He got a pepperoni and I got a Hawaiian. I felt weird for letting someone I don't really know or like pay for my  food but since it was pizza I decided it was fine. We headed back towards school, making our way to the beach. We walked past Rikki's house and I saw her playing with her brother in her back garden. I was about to wave when I realized it might take some explaining as to why I was ditching a detention with Austin O'Neil. She had had enough after-schools to know they took longer then twenty minutes. But it was too late.
