Of course Kate was ecstatic about me going on tour with Luke because that meant more exposure time, but in order to fix the cheating scandal, she wanted me to be even more lovey dovey with him so everyone would forget about it and remember how much of a “happy couple” we were. On the day we were set to leave, Luke pulled me up on the tour bus and gave me a look around,

"Now here’s your bunk," Luke said patting on the bunk just above his

"What? You guys aren’t sleeping together? What kind of couple is that?" Calum asked pretending to be shocked

"Shut up Cal," I said

"Anyways, we got the rest of the bunks over here, and the back room is pretty nice," Luke continued

I met the rest of the tour crew who seemed to welcome me with open arms. Some of them knew me from my music career so it was nice being able to talk to them. We got to the first venue which was surrounded by fans even though the concert didn’t start for another five hours. Walking out of the bus was hectic to say the least but nothing I wasn’t used to. I guess the only thing that was different was how much more aggressive the fans were. Some of them wanted to meet me while another portion of them wanted to scratch my eyes out, I couldn’t blame them. Jealousy was a pretty big thing for me too, especially when I really liked the guy. Luke kept a safe hold around my waist as we were guided through the entrance of the venue, but I couldn’t help but feel bad for the fans who weren’t able to meet him because of how protective he was over me. We were halfway there while I watched as Calum, Ashton, and Michael stopped way behind to meet some fans.

"Luke go meet everyone I’ll be fine," I whispered into his ear stopping him

"Really? Are you sure?" Luke asked

"Yeah, I’ve played here before I know where everything is, I’ll be okay," I reassured him

He gave me a light kiss on the cheek before meeting up with his bandmates behind him. I was almost inside but hearing some girls call my name from behind the barricades of the entrance made me stop

"Hey," I smiled walking up to them

"Hi Josie can I take a selfie with you?" One of the girls asked

"Of course!" I said preparing myself for the photo

"How are you and Luke?" Another girl asked

"We’re doing fine," I smiled

"But I didn’t want you guys to miss out on meeting him just because of me, so I asked him to stay behind to see everyone," I continued

After finishing my conversation with the girls, I found my way into the venue which was clean and quiet. Until the doors actually open for the public that is. I was greeted by some workers who seemed to recognize me and I got to backstage. I was walking around when I heard a familiar voice stop me

"Jojo?"

"Jeff? I didn’t know you were working on this tour," I said excitedly

Jeff was my sound engineer for my last tour. I always got close to the people I was working with while I was performing because I knew I’d be with them almost every day for a long time and most of them were generally sweet anyways and Jeff was no different. He helped out during sound check and he was doing the same at 5sos’s tour as well.

"Where are the boys?" Jeff asked

"They’re still outside meeting fans I guess," I replied

"You wanna help out for sound check until they come in?" Jeff asked plugging in different wires and handing me a mic

"Sure," I said

"So I plug the acoustic in?" I asked putting the guitar strap over my neck and letting the instrument hang loosely from my body.

Jeff nodded from the sound booth on side stage and I stepped forward to the mic. When he gave me the signal to go, I began speaking through the mic like old times

"Sound check one two three," I said hearing my voice echo through the venue. I strummed a few chords on the guitar to see the tuning and the sound of the amps which Jeff approved of and I started messing around a bit. I strummed the chords to Out Of My Limit and started singing just to get the feel of performing on stage back on my veins.

“Back in high school we used to take it slow
Red lipstick on and high heel stilettos
Had a job downtown working the servo
Had me waiting in line couldn’t even let go

'Cause I never wanna be that guy
Who doesn’t even get a taste
No more having to chase
To win that prize

You’re just a little bit out of my limit
It’s been two years now you haven’t even seen the best of me
And in my mind now I’ve been over this a thousand times
And it’s almost over
Let’s start over

Back in high school we used to make up plans
Called you up one day to meet split ends

'Cause I never wanna be that guy
Who doesn’t even get a taste
No more having to chase
To win that prize

You’re just a little bit out of my limit
It’s been two years now you haven’t even seen the best of me
And in my mind now I’ve been over this a thousand times
And it’s almost over
Let’s start over

Then que Luke’s sick guitar solo and the crowd goes wild!” I laughed finishing the song

"Sick guitar solo?" I heard Luke’s voice through the speakers

I looked to my side and saw Calum, Michael, Ash, and Luke walking on stage. Luke spoke through the wireless mic and I couldn’t help but laugh

"She stole the stage and my guitar," Michael said

"Sorry Mike this was just too tempting," I smiled handing him back his guitar I was about to walk off to let them do their thing, when Luke pulled me back on stage

"Hey finish sound check with us," Luke said

"It’s your show you guys should do it,"

"C’mon Jojo you’re already on stage just stay," Ashton said taking a seat on his drum kit

Michael handed me back his acoustic guitar while he strapped on the electric and we started messing around for sound check. Fans began piling in for the sound check experience before the concert and some of them were a little shocked to see me on stage.

When sound check ended we still had time before the concert started so they started pumping themselves up with loud music in the dressing room. About an hour later the concert began
