Luke’s P.O.V.
Ever since Josie joined us on tour it’s like I’ve seen a different side of her. She was with us 24/7 and we were rarely seen by paps because we were always in private places. I saw the real her. The side that the camera never got to see and I couldn’t help but feel grateful for that. To feel grateful to know her. I’ve seen her without make up, hair in a total mess, just walking around the tour bus and hotel rooms in nothing but a large t shirt which were usually mine. (She loves stealing my clothes she just won’t admit it). I couldn’t help but fall in love with her.

"But what if I don’t want to break up?" I blurted out

"What?" She asked wide eyed

"Uh nothing- I just meant. What if the break up changes our friendship? I don’t want that to happen," I stuttered. Nice save Luke.

"It won’t. I promise," she smiled placing a hand on my knee

"Guys we’re here!" Calum announced as the bus slowed to a stop

We were in front of another hotel for a three day stop at that town. It was the middle of the night and surprisingly there weren’t any fans outside like there usually was. No one leaked out the hotel we were staying at yet which was pretty new.

"Holy shit look at this view," Josie said as I shut the door of our hotel room. She rushed to the balcony and opened the doors letting the cool wind enter our room. I followed behind her letting our eyes sink in the beauty of the city we were in. I don’t even remember it’s name but I’m definitely going to remember this moment. Josie and I got a lot of alone time together considering the fact that we were almost always with each other. We stood there silently listening to the sounds of the city and looking at the lights that surrounded us with different buildings and tiny houses in the distance. She placed her hand on my bicep holding herself close to me to share this moment together. It was times like these that really threw me off. When we were alone and no cameras but we still had the same interactions as if we were a real couple, but it was just us. There was nobody there who was watching us. No one who we had to please and yet we were still inseparable

"Remember when we first met?" She asked interrupting our peaceful quietness

"Of course I do princess,"

Calling her princess started out as an insult, but now it’s turned into a casual nickname that she didn’t mind hearing now and then

"Who knew we’d end up like this?" She laughed looking up at me

"I was pretty sure you were going to kill me before the relationship even started," I said reminding her of how we began

"Well you legally binded yourself to me for three months, I thought I was going to kill you too," She joked leaning her head against my shoulder

"But you still can’t say that you haven’t had fun the last two months," I replied

"True Hemmings. I’ve had tons of fun with you four dorks," She laughed

She began rambling on about the different cities we’ve been to, but in all honesty I couldn’t focus on what she was saying. I was focusing on her. The way she got so passionate about the things she spoke about like they were important even if it was a tiny little thing on the spectrum of this massive world. She spoke with a purpose and everything mattered to her. Believe me I would know. But as she talked I watched her lips move with every intent of having mine on hers. Of being able to run my fingers through her hair as she ran her hands down my back leaving a trail of scratch marks in the heat that I wouldn’t mind having because they were hers. Whenever I watched her speak all I could think about was our first kiss together. In all honesty it wasn’t an accident. I’ve been wanting to kiss her ever since I met her even if she wanted to claw my eyes out in the beginning. But now. Now is different. She doesn’t care about who I am and I couldn’t care less about who she was. We both knew each other truthfully and whole heartedly because we had nothing to hide. It was the way she was on the inside that attracted me to her. I’ve had girls throw themselves at me who didn’t even take the time to figure out who I really was. All they knew was that I was Luke Hemmings, the lead singer of the world famous band 5 Seconds of Summer. But Josie, Josie took me apart piece by piece. She evaluated every inch of me figuring me out like a puzzle and I never thought I’d ever get to this level of security with anyone. Not even the guys. But then she came along and absolutely demolished me in the best way possible.

"Can I tell you something?" I blurted out

"Of course you don’t need my permission," She said looking at me intently

"I think- I think I-"

"LUKE JOSIE HEY!" Michael yelled from the balcony right next to us

"Hey Mikey!" Josie waved

"WE WERE THINKING OF LOOKING AROUND TOWN SINCE NO ONE KNOWS WE’RE HERE YET YOU GUYS COMING?" Michael asked

"Lets go pretty boy it sounds like fun!" Josie smiled pulling me inside of the room

She was in her suitcase looking for a jacket to put on while I slipped on my black converse

"What did you wanna tell me earlier though Luke?" She asked putting on her jacket

Should I tell her? Do I do it now or will it just ruin everything we already have? Do it Luke. Just do it. Grow some balls and do it.

"Josie I-"

"LETS GO!" Ashton yelled banging on the door

"Nevermind," I sighed

"C’mon I hate it when people say that. Just tell me. You can tell me anything Lucas," She said stepping towards me

Ashton’s continuous banging was really killing me. I can’t tell her now.

"I’ll tell you when we get back yeah?" I compromised

"Sure," She agreed

We finally left the room to be greeted by Cal, Mikey, and Ash as we made our way out of the hotel and into the city

We were in for it tonight
