Chapter Seven

I woke up the next morning with Luke’s arm draped lazily around me as he slept. I sighed getting up and decided to change my clothes since I was still wearing the dress from last night. I threw on an oversized t shirt and shorts and wiped all the make up off my face. I absolutely hated the feeling of all that gunk on my face, but I always had it on for the cameras. I walked out of the bathroom to find Luke still laying down on the bed, but he was awake this time

"Morning pretty boy," I said leaning against the doorway 

"Hey," He yawned

"The paps are outside go take your walk of shame," I said pointing to the flashes from outside my window. Kate probably sent them down here for more photos how wonderful

 He let out a loud groan

"Come here first,"  He said spreading his arms out on the bed

I laughed before crawling into his arms for a long hug 

He snuggled his face into the crook of my neck 

"You know you look so much better without make up," He breathed

"You know you look so much better not sleeping in my bed," I replied

"Alright alright I’ll go now," He said loosening his grip around me 

"See ya later Lucas," I laughed

I stayed in bed as Luke left until I got a phone call from Kate telling me to meet her at her office

"How’s the relationship going?" Kate asked when I got to her office

"It’s going just fine,"

"Then what are these photos about Josie?" Kate asked slapping a magazine on the table in front of me

On the front page it was Luke plastered on the magazine with the girl he was with at the after party. She was sitting on his lap and kissing his neck.

"That was from weeks ago," I said

"He’s breaking the contract Josie," Kate stated

"So what? Why are you talking to me instead of him?" 

"You can sue the boy for all he’s worth Jojo,"

"What the hell Kate," 

"If you don’t fix this problem then you’re reputation is down the drain so might as well get your moneys worth," Kate said casually

"I’ll fix it, I’m not fucking suing him," I said disgusted by her way of thinking

"Fix it quick before I file the lawsuit, if you don’t want the money then I’ll gladly receive my payments with a raise,"

Unfortunately, I also signed onto a contract with Kate. She was signed on to be my publicist for at least a year before I could get away from her. I wouldn’t be surprised if she sued me if I even attempted to fire her

I sped over to the boys’ hotel and was greeted by the fans who were used to my usual visits. I took a few photos and spoke to them but I had to make it short. The boys’ had the floor all to themselves so they didn’t even bother with locking the doors. I entered Luke’s room to find him in the shower.

"Luke!" I yelled behind the bathroom door

"Josie? I’m kinda busy right now!" He yelled back

"We need to talk!" I replied

In seconds I was met by a wet and half naked Luke who only had a towel wrapped around his waist. I pulled him out of the bathroom and slapped down the magazine in front of him on the hotel bed.

"You couldn’t have found a more reliable groupie to fuck huh?" I spat annoyed with him

"I didn’t fuck her," He said looking down onto the magazine

"Well she posted the pictures all over the internet and it’s going to ruin mine and your reputation Luke! Regardless of what you did that night, it looks bad on both our parts. Kate wasn’t even hesitant about suing you for breaking the damn contract!"

"I didn’t mean to make you look bad Josie. It just happened," He apologized

"I saved your ass from being sued Luke you fucking owe me," I said plopping onto the bed letting out a deep breath

"We’ll go out tonight then," He said sitting next to me

"What?"

"The boys and I wanted to eat out tonight anyways why don’t you just come with us?"

"This doesn’t even come close to making it up to me Hemmings… but it’s a start,"
