My eyes are closed
But my ears are alive
I can hear the waves crashing
Birds chirping
People talking in the distance
My eyes are closed
But my nose is alive
I can smell the salt
The seaweed
The air
My eyes are closed
But my sense of feeling is alive
The sand seeps through my toes
The wind brushes through my hair
Water droplets land on me
Occasionally
One by one
My eyes are closed
But my taste is alive
I can practically taste the salty water
The cold salty water
I taste beauty wonder freedom
My eyes are closed
But still
I see the ocean
