The day I saw you

Chapter 3

As Phoebe arrived at her P.C. room she already had tears running down her face. She threw her bag down on the seat outside the room and got her stuff out. She felt like everyone was looking at her and felt a bit self-conscious. She went and sat on the grass, under a tree, a couple if metres away from the door. Levi Lawrence (in year 9) from the P.C. next door came and sat next to her.

"Hey are you ok I heard what has happened over the past week for you, that's pretty tough."

"Yer I wish it would just be all over. I mean I lost my great grandfather, my best friend, and no one has really noticed how badly it's effected me."

"Well I've noticed." He replied.

"Well a few people like Savannah, Daniel and you but other people are all wrapped up in their own little social lives, it doesn't really bother me though."

"Hey Phebs, come on, in you come." Yelled Mr Maloney.

"See you later then." She said to Levi as she got up.

"See ya."

She walked into P.C. she sat sat in her normal spot between Olivia Dawn and Cass Barellis. They said good morning to Mr Maloney as he started reading the morning notices. After he had finished he pulled out a small envelope and handed it to Phoebe.

"What's this sir?"

"Just open it."

She opened it and say that it was a card from the whole P.C. then Olivia handed her another envelope and when she opened it to see a card from all her friends. She started crying again. Phoebe stood up and walked out of the room, when she got outside she when and sat back in the spot she was in before. Suddenly she felt an arm around her. To her surprise it was Levi, and hugged him back. Meanwhile back inside Olivia, Cass and Blake Kelly were explaining what had happened that morning.

"What's happened now?" Asked Levi.

"I got given these cards just then."

As Levi looked at them he smiled "I signed this one."

"Yer but look at what Jazmine wrote, was this done this morning?"

"Yer, that's harsh."

Jazmine had written 'hope your happy, you little piece of nothingness, you didn't even consider if I liked him but no you just went right on and kisses him'

"How come you signed it?"

"Cause I was walking past and one of your friends came up and asked me if I wanted to sign it, she asked Conor as well."

"Oh ok then I think it's cause she knows that we're friends."

Mr Maloney walked out and wanted to see if Phoebe would come back to P.C. so she did and saw that everyone was in a line down the centre of the room, each of them holding a piece of paper. Mr Maloney told her to stand in front of the line. One by one everyone handed their piece of paper and gave her a hug.

"Sir what are all these?"

"They are everyones favourite things about you."

"Awww thanks everyone."

"And we are going to staple them together and you are going to keep them in diary so if you need to you pull them out and read them." As soon as Olivia finished speaking the bell rang for first period.

As Phoebe walked out of the room Levi was waiting for her with her bag.

"Where are you?"

"GL13."
