The Cartel Part 2: A Thin Line

Three months later ..

The view from Kelsey's hotel was beautiful, the calm dark blue water, and the sunset was just what she needed to get away from all of her problems at the moment. She was in Santorini, Greece. Far away from her husband, her kids, Paris, Shane, and all of her problems. With the help of Jessica she was able to get out of the country and after that everything was easy .. She put all of the money she had into an account and she used it accordingly.

Although she was thousand of miles away from her husband, she knew she still had to keep her head down .. One thing out of all the years of being married to Shamar Carter, she learned to never underestimate him. Although he said he would give her a divorce she was having a hard time really believing it ..

She still loved Shamar, matter of fact she was still deeply in love with him but that wasn't going to make her go back .. In just a month her life had changed drastically, she had met someone else, she hadn't told Paris about him but she planned on it .. Word on the street was even Shamar had met someone else. Paris had told her all about the new mystery girl ..

Although she hadn't met her yet, Shane had .. and Kelsey knew if Shane had met her it wouldn't be long before Paris met her ..

Snapping out of her trance, Kelsey ran over to her phone as it began to ring .. Around the same time everyday it would ring, and on the other line it would be Paris facetimeing her with the kids ..

She sat and talked with them for as long as she could before they got bored with it and handed over the phone to Paris ..

"Where's Shamar ?" Kelsey asked

"Somewhere with Shane .." She replied "How are you ?" Smiling, Paris was always just as excited to talk to her as the kids were

"I'm fine, it's getting lonely .. It was like a vacation but now .. I'm missing everybody .." Kelsey said

"We miss you more .." Paris replied

"Have they gave up on questioning you ?" Kelsey asked curiously

"Sort of, Shamar will bring you up every now and then .. but he never asks about you .. but I'm pretty sure it's because they're monitoring every damn thing I'm doing.. My phone is tapped, my cars are tapped, gps tapped, I can't piss in privacy these days.." Paris giggled

Shaking her head, Kelsey closed her eyes and sighed "I'm sorry I got you into this .. Like life of living with them wasn't hard enough .." She finished

"Girl, I'm fine .. " Paris said, fanning her off

"Have you met her yet ?" Kelsey asked, referring to Shamar's new girlfriend

"No, and Shane won't tell me anything .." She said

"Interesting .." Kels replied

There was a long pause before either of them spoke, "What's your next step ?" Paris asked

"I don't know .." Kelsey replied

"Kelsey, you have to come back soon .. Divorce him, take him to court if you have to for the kids, but you have to face this .. you can't hide out forever !! You know Sasha's birthday is next month .." She said

"Of course I know Paris, I birthed her .." Kelsey said

"I'm just saying .." She replied

Nodding, Kelsey locked eyes with Paris "Can you come here ?" She asked

Kelsey watched as Paris' eyes widened and her eyebrows raised up "Come there ? For what ?"

"I have somebody I want you to meet .." Kelsey said with a slight grin

With her eyes growing even wider Paris sat up "Kelsey what ?!" She yelled

"I know, I know .. I just need you to meet him, I'll feel more comfortable with this once you do .." She said

"Well Kels, you know I can't come there .. I mean I could, but security will be all over my ass because of course your husband will be suspicious that I'm coming to see you .. Come here .." Paris said

"And that's definitely a set up, Paris I can't so much as sneeze in the state of Florida without Shamar Carter knowing I'm there .." She replied

Laughing, Paris shrugged "Well get your ass into the United States and I'll figure it out from there .. can you fly in private without going through customs ?" She asked

"Yeah, I can do that .." Kelsey said

"Okay, once you get everything figured out .. call me .. get as close as you can to Florida and I'll handle it from there .." Paris replied

"Okay.."

"Well, I gotta go .. I have to get ready, they have some boring ass meeting tonight with somebody .." She said

"Now you get to feel how I felt without you .." Kelsey laughed

"Whatever .. I'll talk to you later, I'm gonna trash the phone after this .. so I love you !!" Paris said

"I love you more Paris .."

Finally finished getting dressed, Paris made her way downstairs in a vintage green & sheer sequined Gucci dress. Her neck and wrists were dripping in Cartier, but from the look on her face alone you could tell she was ready to get it over with..

"I'm ready, let's get this over with .." Paris said as she walked into the kitchen where her husband, and brother in law were taking shots..

But Paris noticed, they weren't alone .. Glaring at the girl who sat next to Shamar, Paris had a feeling who she was but she wasn't expecting for her to pop up in her home this soon either ..

"Who is this ?" She asked Shane as she stood next to him

Standing up, the girl reached her hand out to Paris .. "I'm Christina, Shamar's girlfriend.." she said with a smile

Looking at her hand and then at Shamar, Paris jumped a little as she felt Shane pinch her butt .. Sticking her hand out, she put on her best fake smile ..

"Paris .." She said

"Nice to meet you .. I love your home, it's gorgeous !!" Christina said as she admired the 16 feet ceiling, and marble floors..

"Thanks .." Paris replied before turning to Shane, "Let's go .." She said right before walking out of the kitchen alone ..
