The first night was the hardest, for Paris.. However for Kelsey, it was the easiest .. But you couldn't tell as they sat in the courtroom ..

Their first night was spent in isolation cells .. They hadn't been put into general population yet so they were able to cope alone ..

Paris' eyes were puffy from crying & exhaustion.. But her face was well beat to hide it .. She was missing her kids more than she thought she could handle and being in between those 4 walls all night, with nothing but her thoughts made her miss them even more .. She missed Shane, her baby sister, her mom and Mrs. Justine .. but she knew she had no choice but to finish what she had started ..

Kelsey spent the majority of her night thinking about life after prison, she was hoping more than anything Shamar would forgive her .. she had already forgiven him .. She wanted her family back by any means necessary..

Both dressed in Chanel, in true Carter fashion .. behind bars or not their wealth was ringing loudly throughout the courtroom ..

They didn't expect it to be such a big deal but the streets were talking, the media was talking .. which made for a field day outside and inside of the courtroom ..

The world wanted to see how the fate of the two wives of the two biggest KingPins America had seen in decades would turn out ..

Camera crews sat along the walls of the courtroom, hundreds of people stood outside waiting to hear their sentence, radio stations were broadcasting the trial across the country, live streams were being held online .. Shane and Shamar tried to stop it from getting to the media but that didn't work ..

They wanted them to do their sentence and get out quietly .. but things changed as soon as the media got involved ..

They had just gotten their sentences and reality was starting to settle in..

"14 months ? What happened to a year and a half ?" Kelsey asked as she turned to Blake and whispered in his ear..

Putting his hand up he silenced her, as the judge finished his closing remarks ..

Looking over at Paris, Kelsey could tell she was zoned out .. But she looked unbothered ..

"You good ?" Kelsey asked

Nodding, Paris sighed .. "Yeap, Let's do this .." She replied as she put on a fake smile for the cameras ..

Looking back into the crowd she locked eyes with Shane and winked at him .. They could hear the loud cheers from people outside who supported them, people were happy about the short sentence.. The hood was happy..

Meanwhile, the detectives and officers .. Everyone who worked so hard to take Shamar and Shane down were devastated!!

Even though they weren't the fish they wanted they were hoping they would at least get longer sentences than they received ..

Breaking her eye contact with Shamar .. the police officer that came to cuff Kelsey whispered in her ear "1 year & 2 months with me .. I hope you're ready .." yanking her up from her seat Kelsey groaned in pain .. "You're not protected in here .. this is my territory bitch .." He said

Shamar didn't miss a beat as he stood up, just as he was about to hop over the waist length wall that separated them Blake pushed him back in an attempt to stop him ..

Cameras began to flicker and flash as they watched to see what he would do next ..

"That's what they want you to do .. They want a reaction .. chill out .." Blake said

Ignoring him, Shamar looked the police officer in the eyes .. "Be real careful muthafucker.." He said

The police officer smiled as he hand cuffed Kelsey and took her to the back followed by Paris ..
