The Cartel Part 2: A Thin Line

(The rest of this book will be written by me .. Chapters 2,4,&6 weren't but the rest will be .. Just an FYI ..)

Standing at the door of the hotel Paris stood and waited until Shane brought the car to the front. It was now pouring down raining, and their Thanksgiving Day was slowly but surely coming to an end.. Not the end they were expecting but definitely an end ..

Watching as Shane pulled up in his all black 2018 Aston Martin Vanquish, he parked and got out the car. Walking to the passenger side of the car he opened the door for Paris.. Smirking, she looked him up and down as he did her and waited for her to get in before closing the door behind her and getting in himself ..

The car ride was completely quiet as Shane made his way to the interstate, the only sound that could be heard was the hard thuds of the rain hitting the car and the thunder that rumbled throughout the sky ever so often ..

Pulling out her phone, she sent Kelsey a text .. already knowing she wouldn't reply she sent it anyway ..

"I love you ;)"

Looking up from her phone she saw Shane glaring at her "What ?" She asked

Not saying anything, he returned his attention back to the road.. Picking up speed, she watched from the passenger side as the number's on the speedometer went up by the second..

"Could you slow down ?" She asked

But Shane didn't stop, he only went faster ... Dodging the few cars that was on the road he only picked up more speed, then more speed, and then more .. until eventually by the time Paris checked again he was at 118 miles per hour ..

"Shane !! Slow the fuck down .." She yelled, as her heart began to beat faster. She was silently saying a prayer..

Not looking at her, Shane ignored her.. He had a calm smirk on his face as he pressed his foot harder on the gas, only focusing on the road and the speedometer .. He was now at 200 miles per hour ..

And she was starting to think for sure this time he was about to kill them both, she couldn't see nothing but lights flying by her .. between the rain and speed she didn't know how he could see either ..

Sitting back in her seat, Paris closed her eyes "Please slow down .." She said ..

Trying her hardest to control her breathing, she heard Shane's voice ..

"Where is she ?" He asked

"I don't fuckin know !!" Paris yelled

"Where is she ?" Shane asked again, only this time louder and he picked up more speed ..

This time she didn't answer, he wasn't going to accept the answer she had for him so she wasn't going to say another word.. She didn't care how he threatened her, she wasn't gonna give Kelsey up ..

Paris could hear cars blowing their horns as he jerked the car to the right, skipping three lanes he took an exit and slowed down as fast as he could ..

"What the fuck is wrong with you ?!" She yelled slapping him across the face as they sat at the red light ..

Grabbing her hand, he began to squeeze it as hard as he could as she bent down in the seat in agony .. "Keep your hands to yourself .." He said before pushing her hand away ..

"You gonna let your brother fuck up your marriage, while you're so fuckin worried about his .." She said..

Not saying anything, Shane went through the light .. Pulling up to the hotel where Jessica was, he parked in the front and handed the valet the keys as Paris got out behind him ..
