At Carly's makeup company, Carly was preparing for the launch when Ava came into the office. "Ava, why are you here?" Carly asked. "I need any dirt you have on Lorenzo Alcazar. I know you were married to him once," Ava said. "Yes, I was, but I don't have any dirt on him," Carly replied. "I need to destroy him for killing my brother," Ava added. "Ava, Lorenzo is dangerous," Carly warned. "So am I," Ava said and then left.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Ned and Olivia were getting ready for the inauguration. Olivia adjusted his tie. "You're going to be a wonderful mayor," Olivia said as Tracy entered the room. "Yes, I couldn't agree more. Olivia, can you give me a minute with my son?" Tracy asked. "Sure," Olivia said and left. "Ned, I'm proud of you for becoming mayor. Daddy would be so proud, but there's one thing I want you to promise me—never go after Lorenzo," Tracy urged. "What's that?" Ned asked. "Go after Lorenzo. Skye needs him, and I didn't give Skye a good life when she was a baby, but I can fix that now," Tracy replied. "Mother," Ned objected. "Ned, please," Tracy pleaded. "Alright, I'm glad Skye is awake," Ned said. "Me too," Tracy nodded as her phone rang. "Tracy Quartermaine. Yes, I did," she answered and hung up. "You look happy," Ned said. "I am," Tracy replied. They then left.
At General Hospital, Lorenzo was about to see Skye when Carly stopped him. "Lorenzo, we need to talk. I'm glad Skye is awake, but there's something you need to know," Carly said. "What's that?" Lorenzo asked.
At the nurse's station, Sabrina, Patrick, Robin, and Bobbie were working when Alan and Dr. Hayward arrived. "I need to make this quick, but Dr. David Hayward is joining our team," Alan said. "Welcome to the team," Bobbie greeted. "Thanks, I'm looking forward to this," Dr. Hayward replied.
