Life Unexpected Part 3, Chapter 24: A Legend Returns
At the police station-Tea was working when Lindsey came in.
"Tea, I need to report a missing person," Lindsey said.
"Who?" Tea asked.
"Ava Jerome. She's been missing since last night," Lindsey replied.
"Do you have any evidence for this?" Tea asked.
"Ava has been upset since Julian died; she blames Lorenzo for it," Lindsey said.
"Are you saying that my brother did this?" Tea asked.
"We all know he killed Julian by putting him in a coma. Ava wanted justice for him," Lindsey explained.
"I will look into this," Tea said, as Ned came over.
"Mayor Quartermaine, I'm glad you're here. I need to report a missing person—Ava Jerome. I want your word that someone other than Tea will look into it. I have a feeling it was Lorenzo Alcazar," Lindsey said.
"You have my word; I will look into it," Ned replied.
"Thanks," Lindsey said. "I'll send a cop to the gallery and Ava's hotel."
"Thanks," Lindsey echoed before leaving.
"We need to talk," Ned said.
At Laura's—Laura was in bed with Kevin; they had been having a secret affair.
"Why are we hiding this? We're two adults," Kevin asked.
"I don't know. You're right. Let's just tell everyone," Laura said.
The doorbell rang. Laura got up, put on her robe, and went into the living room to open the door. It was Leslie.
"Mother," Laura greeted.
"Laura, why are you in your robe?" Leslie asked as Kevin entered the room dressed for the day.
"Oh, Dr. Collin," Leslie said.
"Leslie," Kevin replied.
"Mother, you will be the first to know—Kevin and I are together," Laura announced.
"I'm glad you're happy," Leslie said.
"Thanks. Why are you here?" Laura asked.
"I miss this town and you," Leslie replied.
"I miss you too," Laura said.
At the Quartermaine mansion-Olivia was planning her wedding when Skye came into the room.
"Olivia," Skye greeted.
"Skye, it's good to see you awake," Olivia said.
"Thanks. What did I miss?" Skye asked.
"Well, Ned is mayor and Laura is his deputy, and Ned and I are engaged," Olivia explained.
"That's wonderful about you and Ned. You're the kinda wife Ned needs," Skye said.
"Thanks. Skye, why are you here and not with your family?" Olivia asked.
"I feel disconnected from my children. Maybe I was gone too long," Skye answered.
"Just give it time. You will get it back. Lorenzo fought so hard for you. He loves you," Olivia said.
"I love him too. I just never realized how far he would go," Skye admitted.
