Life Unexpected Part 3, Chapter 18
At the Matriarch Hotel, Kristina entered and saw Cameron waiting for her. "Cameron, I'm sorry I'm late," Kristina said. "No, it's okay. How was your father's inauguration?" Cameron asked. "Good," Kristina replied. They had been dating but hadn't told their parents yet. When Liz arrived, she asked, "Kristina, Cameron, are you both coming to Carly's launch party?" "Yes," Kristina answered. "It's nice that Tracy is letting Carly have the party here," Liz said. "Yes," Cameron agreed. Liz then asked, "Are you both dating?" "Mother, we weren't ready to tell anyone, but yes," Cameron admitted. Kristina added, "I love your son." Liz responded, "I'm happy for both of you. Just be careful." "We will," Kristina promised.
Michael, Sabrina, Bobbie, David, Ava, Jax, Alexis, and AJ arrived at the launch party as Carly entered the room. "Thanks for coming to my makeup company, Barbra Jean Cosmetics," Carly announced. Bobbie was shocked and hugged Carly. "Thanks to you," Bobbie said. "You're welcome," Carly replied. An unwelcome guest then approached. "Do you need a model?" she asked. "Brenda! Get out of my party! No one wants you here!" Carly yelled. "That's not true, Jax," Brenda rebutted. "Brenda," Jax said, but suddenly Ava stepped outside, and someone came from behind and shot her.
Back inside, everyone was shocked that Brenda had returned. "Brenda, tonight is about Carly, not you. Now please go," AJ said. "Why are you standing up for Carly? You hate each other. Where's Sonny?" Brenda asked. "AJ and I are together. About Sonny, that's none of your business," Carly responded. AJ then got down on one knee. "Carly, will you marry me?" he asked. "Yes!" Carly exclaimed, and they shared a kiss.
Michael was stunned when Brenda approached him. "Michael, you're all grown up," Brenda said. "Yes, I am," Michael replied. "Did something happen to Sonny?" Brenda asked. "Morgan died, and afterward, my mother left Sonny. I wanted to be a Quartermaine. Sonny couldn't take it anymore and killed himself," Michael explained. "No," Brenda said.
"Alexis, you don't have to worry about Brenda. It's over," Jax assured her. "I know, I trust you," Alexis replied. "I want to make a toast to my daughters, BJ and Carly," Bobbie said. "Thanks, Mother," Carly responded.
At Skye and Lorenzo's, Lorenzo came home, placed a gun in the fireplace, and set it on fire. "Another Jerome gone," Lorenzo said.
