Life Unexpected Part 3, Chapter 40
At the Quartermaine mansion, Monica and Alan were alone. She was happy to have her father here and wanted to get to know him.
"Monica, I know you want to know your father, but I want you to be careful. You don't know everything—he could be after your money," Alan said.
"I know, and I will be careful. I just want to know my father. I want to know who I am," Monica said.
"I understand," Alan replied.
Harrison was in a room on the phone.
"My daughter just came back into my life, which came out of a great time. I can have a new start," Harrison said. He hung up the phone and picked up an envelope.
At the park, Skye was there with her children. She was happy to be with them when Valentin came by.
"No, it can't be," Skye said.
"I'm sorry," Valentin said.
"Are you Will Cortland?" Skye asked.
"No, Valentin Cassadine," he replied.
"Oh, sorry, you look like him," Skye said.
"If I were him, I don't think I would forget you," Valentin said and left. As Lorenzo came by,
"What was that about?" Lorenzo asked.
"Nothing. Why are you here?" Skye asked.
"I wanted to check on you and the children," Lorenzo said.
"We're fine. Lorenzo, is everything okay?" Skye asked.
"Yes," Lorenzo replied. They shared a kiss.
At Jax's place, Brenda was in the bathroom, feeling sick, when Jax came in and helped her up.
"Thanks," Brenda said.
"You're welcome. Do you need anything?" Jax asked.
"No, I just had chemotherapy before I came," Brenda replied.
"Why don't you stay in the guest room? You can't stay at a hotel," Jax suggested.
"Are you sure? I don't want to come between you and Alexis," Brenda said.
"It's fine," Jax said.
"Alright," Brenda agreed.
