I might actually finish the story at this rate. That's a good thing though. This story has been nearly a year in the making.

Junmyeon's POV
...
"I know you said to wait," a voice whispered in my ear. "But there's an emergency." I groaned as I rolled over, facing Heechan, who looked like he'd seen a ghost. I was finally getting the much needed sleep my body craved. But I forced myself up and out of bed, tugging on a pair of jeans before following behind Heechan down to the throne room.
"Heechan, it's near midnight," I complained. "Can't they wait until..." But all words died on my tongue as I finally caught sight of who was inside. "What are you doing here?" I asked Yixing, approaching him slowly. His hair stuck to his forehead and he looked like he'd arrived in a hurry. But the huge smile on his face contrasted his gruff appearance. Dimples in full display. Aw man.
"Junnie!" he cried, throwing himself at me, catching me off guard. I stumbled as his full weight hit me, but my arms wrapped around him all the same. "I came to see you," he whispered at last, burying his face in my shoulder. "How could I not after that?" I chuckled.
"You saw that huh?" I asked. All he did was nod. "I'm sorry," I apologized. "I hope I didn't offend you or anyone. I just had to get it off my chest. There was no sense pretending to be someone I'm not."
"You broke up with Hyeja?" he asked. I shook my head, taking his hand and leading him up to the throne. I made him sit.
"She broke up with me actually," I said. "She said she didn't want to stand in the way. Not that I have a shot with you anyway. You're married." He glanced down to his hand and sighed quietly, reaching up and raking his hand through his hair.
"Yeah," he replied. "I am. I also kind of forgot to mention to her that I was leaving. Oops." He shrugged. "Seeing you seemed like the most important thing at the time. I didn't think about what would happen later. I just kind of acted. I had to see you."
I gazed down at him, biting my lip. I didn't want to get my hopes up. After all he was still a taken man. But he'd disregarded his father's orders to him, got in his private jet, and flew here in the middle of the night just to see me. If that didn't say he loved me nothing else would. I let myself give into temptation just a bit and connected my lips with his. As soon as we met, fireworks exploded in my stomach once again. He tugged on my shirtfront, bringing me closer and deepening the kiss. I was faintly aware of Heechan behind us, probably watching our every move. But right now I didn't care.
"God I forgot how good you felt against my skin," he mumbled when we pulled apart for oxygen, but it didn't last long before he was craning up to meet my lips again, hungrily drawing me in. "I missed this," he continued between kisses. "Missed you. So damn much. I was a fool for ever letting you slip away." He finally pulled back to look me in the eyes. "I love you," he said. "If you have the courage to say it, so do I. I, Prince Yixing, have been in love with you for nearly three years." The strange echo of my own words had my heart racing laps around my ribs. He clawed at my shirt once again, roughly pulling me down and clashing our lips together once again. Two years of repressed feelings were coming out tonight as I allowed myself to melt against him, sinking down so we were more even. His fingers wound through my hair and gently tugged at the roots.
"God," I mumbled, pulling away sharply. That felt so good. But this was wrong. So, so wrong. We shouldn't be doing this. Any of this. He was being unfaithful to his wife. That thought was enough to finally ground me to reality and I stood. "Yixing," I said in a warning tone. The one I used when I wanted them to know to take me seriously. "It's good to see you, but we can't do this."
