The cover came in and let me tell you it is so cool. We shall see how this all goes.

Obviously I used it lol. It was too cool not to use.

Yixing's POV

...

I didn't care how old I got, waking up to see Luhan lying across from me, fast asleep, would always be a sight that brought me comfort. He'd accepted my offer to come up to my room, and we must've both fallen asleep talking late into the night. I yawned, lazily rolling on my back to face the ceiling. I'd let Luhan sleep for a bit longer before he had to go back to work.

I expected the first thing on my mind to be wedding plans, but today that wasn't the case. Junmyeon was turning eighteen next week. They were throwing him a party. And my family had been invited. God what would I even say to him? We hadn't spoken to each other in over a year. Did he have a girlfriend finally? What did he think of taking over so quickly?

"Hey." I jumped when a voice spoke. Luhan chuckled lowly. "Don't overthink again. You're bad at that." I smacked him lightly, but I wasn't mad at him. Not in the slightest. "Are you thinking of Junmyeon?" Again, it was like he could read my mind some days.

"Yes," I admitted with a groan. "It's been nearly two years since our short time together. I don't know if I can actually face him." And maybe that was another reason I'd been so hesitant to reconnect with him. Because I wasn't sure if I could face my past. It wasn't like I regretted it, because I didn't, but it was a hard pill to swallow.

"Nothing much has changed I hear," Luhan said. I glanced to him. "What? You aren't the only one who wanted to keep in touch. Sure, texting the royal blood of another country is probably highly frowned upon, but it never stopped me from doing it." He seemed to think for a second. "I think our last little conversation was last week." My jaw dropped. Luhan still kept in steady contact with him, even when I didn't? "He texts me when life seems especially overwhelming," Luhan explained. "I offer advice when his family or Heechan can't. Or Baekhyun."

"Baekhyun?" I did not recognize the name. Luhan paused.

"Oh yeah you don't know," he said. "Baekhyun is Junmyeon's best friend. They became friends last year, and have been pretty inseparable since." I felt a flash of jealousy, but quickly swallowed it down. It wasn't my business if Junmyeon had found other friends. "Baekhyun provides another sort of comfort for Junmyeon, allowing him to be however he pleases without fear of backlash."

"That's good," I said through gritted teeth. Luhan smirked, and a part of me wanted to burrow under the covers and never come back out.

"Is somebody jealous?" he asked me innocently. I scoffed.

"Of Baekhyun? As if," I replied. "Alright, I can't wait to meet him. And see Junmyeon again." That part wasn't a lie. I was a little apprehensive, but excited nonetheless. "I guess he'll get to meet Ying Yue as well, huh?" I asked Luhan. "How do you think he'll take it?"

"Even if he doesn't like it, it's not like he has much choice in the matter," he responded. "You're marrying her whether he likes it or not. And even if he doesn't, he has to pretend like he does." That was a fair point. But I hoped that he liked her. "We'll find out next week, yeah?" Luhan got out of bed as he said this. He gathered a few things in his arms. "I should get going. If Ying Yue catches me in here again..."

"She'll answer to me," I said. "Remember Lu, you answer to me first, and her second. You're welcome in here any time."

"Thank you sire." I wondered why the very sudden formality, but then I heard voices coming from just outside my door. I rose and threw a robe on over my pajamas. I padded quietly to the door, pressing my ear against it.
