I know what I want to do for my very last bonus chapter but that's a few off yet. I think you guys will like it but also maybe want me to die a slow death. We shall see lol.

This idea has randomly come and you know what, we're gonna go with it and see where it takes us.

Current Jam: Victon's Mayday still. This song rose up out of nowhere, smacked me across the face, and basically made me its bitch.

Junmyeon's POV

...

The day started like any other. I rose at seven in the morning, swung into ChaoXing's nursery to grab her, and set to work on getting us ready for the morning. Yixing and DaeHyun had gone back to China for something or another, and it was the very first time we'd had our kids separate from each other. It felt...weird. A part of me still expected DaeHyun to come running out of his room with his blanket trailing behind him even though he claimed "most six year olds didn't need one dad."

"Good morning princess," I sing songed to her. She laughed at me like every morning. "It's weird without Papa here isn't here?" She babbled back in that language only children really understood, though some parts of me did wonder if it was turning into a mixture of Korean and Mandaran without a way to distinguish either one. We'd learned it had happened with DaeHyun as he grew up, and at two when he should have been talking it was still mostly a jumbled mess. We'd taken him to a specialist only to be told he knew how to speak just fine. And sure enough, he grew out of it and could now speak both languages with relative ease. He did seem to favor Korean though.

"Da da." I glanced down to my daughter, who held her arms out to me, fingers grasping at empty air. "Da da." A huge grin overtook my features as I hoisted her up.

"What did you say sweet pea?" I asked her excitedly. She giggled and giggled and pedaled her feet in the air like this was the funniest thing she'd ever heard in her life. "Say it again!" I promted.

"Dada!" she squealed. I laughed delightedly. Her first word! "Dada!"

"Oh my god sweetie we have to get..." I began to run out of the room with her, only to stop when I realized. I deflated some. "Hopefully you're still in a talkative mood when Papa and brother return home from China," I told her, cradling her in one arm and booping her nose. "Maybe I should record it for him... No. He'll be back in a few hours. It wouldn't be the same if he didn't hear it hinself." ChaoXing grew quiet in my grasp, like she was listening to me go on. "Should we get breakfast baby girl? Daddy's getting hungry."

"Dada." I assumed that was a yes, so I made my way downstairs and to the kitchen. Kyungsoo looked up as we approached, sending a soft smile ChaoXing's way. I helped myself to some fruit from the bowl on the island, making sure to get bananas for ChaoXing as they were her current favorite thing. I then made my way down the hall, not to our massive dining room, but to the cozy lounge with a worn wooden table, three chairs, and a highchair in it. We mounted a small flat-screen across from the table. I still hated eating alone, but in here, where my family ate most of their meals, it wasn't so bad. It felt a lot more homey than anything else ever had. I got to work cutting up bananas for ChaoXing and flicked the TV on, letting the morning news fill the silence.

"...and there appears to be an ambulance arriving on the scene right now." My gaze wandered up to the TV to see a shot of one of the freeways. A few cards dotted the pavement. "Oh, hold on everyone. We just got word of what happened. Apparently a car was speeding and lost control, slamming into a limo carrying some very important people." My heart clawed its way into my throat and my movements halted. Even ChaoXing, who'd been happily babbling, grew quiet. "It appears that..."
