"She'll be out in a second," Said Adam, motioning to his phone as he read Senna's reply. "Ash is on her way out as well." I nodded.

"Where are you going, by the way?" I asked Adam out of curiosity. "I don't know; we haven't decided on anything yet." He shrugged as I nodded in understanding.

"Here comes the GOAT!" Exclaimed Zayna, shaking her head in excitement as Natasha approached us, her wet hair pinned up in a bun. "Oh, shut up." She chuckled, slapping Zayna's shoulder jokingly.

"I'm starving," She exclaimed as her stomach rumbled in agony. "Should we have pizza?" She suggested, her eyes glittering under the street light. "It's your call," smiled Zack, his face giving us the signal that we shouldn't mention anything about our previous food agreement.

"Why are you still here?" She asked the guy standing next to me. "I'll try not to be offended by that question," He smiled cheekily, making me smile. "I'm just waiting on Senna." He added, making my smile turn upside down.

"Speak of the devil," cried Zayna, pointing at the approaching figure, earning herself a glare.

"Oh, hey!" Exclaimed the blonde, coming to stand next to Adam. Who greeted her with a hey of his own as he smiled down at her. "How did it go?" She asked Natasha.

"We won," smiled the red head. "That's amazing. Congrats." She beamed, "I'm sorry I couldn't make it," She added, motioning back to where she just came from. "It's just so hectic back there,"

"It's going to be great, don't worry." Adam assured her, as she smiled gratefully at him, making me want to smash both their heads onto a wall. Too extreme?

"Shall we?" I asked, refraining from thinking any more unnecessary thoughts, as I turned to look at the other three. "Yeah, I think we better get going," said Zack, catching the gist. "You're going out as well?" Asked Senna, making me groan internally.

"Yeah," I nodded, wishing we could just get going and away from those two. "Why didn't you tell me?" She asked Adam as he looked at her in confusion.

"You should go celebrate with your friends!" She cried. "We can do this some other day. It's not that big of a deal." She added, shaking her head.

"I can't just ditch you," He smiled, scratching the back of his head. "It's okay, I really don't mind it." How the hell am I supposed to hate her when she keeps acting like this!

"Why don't you join us then?" He suggested all of a sudden, making our heads turn in his direction. "I don't want to intrude on you guys," She shook her head.

"It's okay, you wouldn't mind right?" He assured her, looking at us for confirmation. How am I supposed to say no when she is standing right in front of me?! That guy is a freaking moron I swear! But I just can't hate him.

"Of course you can come," I nodded, sporting my most non fake looking fake smile, getting a sure from Natasha. "See?" Asked Adam looking at the girl standing beside him.

"Okay then," She smiled back at him as we made our way towards the cars.

......

"It all look pretty good to me," Exclaimed Senna, "Any suggestions?" She asked, looking at the guy sitting next to her.

"The Pepperoni is good, Isn't it?" He suggested, looking at me for confirmation, as I nodded yes. "I usually share one with Claire, but we can get one more if you'd like." He suggested and it made me angry for some reason. First him, now my pepperoni!

"Sure," She nodded in agreement!

"I should go wash my hands," I excused myself feeling my heart beat in unease as I walked up to the washroom, their chatter fading in the background.

I turned on the tap, feeling the hot water seep through my fingers sending shivers down my spine, temporarily numbing my heart as my flesh turned reddish by the heat.

"So you let her claw all over him and come here to burn your hands?" Asked Natasha, breaking me out of my trance as she turned the faucet off, and I could already feel the absence of heat on the tips of my fingers.

"I don't know what I should do anymore Ash," I sighed, as she handed me some paper towels to dry off my now red hands. "It's like one moment it's just us two," I smiled, "And the next she is there and it's so confusing Ash,"

"And the way she keeps asking him questions and smiling at him like they are the only two people in the room, it's so frustrating!" I added my voice going up a notch.

"I know," She smiled at me with pity in her eyes. I do look pathetic right now. "No you don't Ash, you haven't seen the way he acted the other day in the car!" I shook my head. "You don't know the way he makes me feel every time we're together!"

"You know, for a second there I thought he might be feeling something, you know? like maybe I am not just a friend to him," I added, turning to face her. "But then, this happens and I don't know how to feel anymore." I cried.

"I know," She nodded. "I know how confusing it can be to like someone," She added.

"I don't think it's just liking anymore," I admitted. "You love him?" She asked in shock.

"I don't know, everything is just so overwhelming now and my emotions are killing me." I said, my eyes turning red as I pushed back the urge to cry.

"It's going to be okay," She said, taking me in for a hug. "It'll be fine." she said patting me on the back.

"I'm so sorry," I cried, backing up from her embrace. "I'm making this about me, I'm so sorry." I said, shaking my head.

"This is your day and I am just drowning you in my sorrows," I chuckled lightly, trying to lighten up the mood as I felt the guilt seeping in. As I wiped my face with the hem of my sleeve. "It's okay, Claire." She smiled down at me.

"No, really! You were great," I smiled, shaking my head at her. "I'm so proud of you," I added.

"I know you are," She nodded with a smile, as I took her in for a hug.

"I think we should get back out," She mumbled into my hair. "I bet they would be sending search parties for us by now," I chuckled as I checked myself in the mirror to make sure I looked normal, before we made our way out and back to the table.

"You ok?" Asked Zayna as I sat next to her. "All good," I smiled back at her.

"You ordered?" I asked to no one in particular. "Yeah and there was no lemon soda so we got you a peach soda." Said Adam, as I nodded in understanding. And I could feel his eyes linger on my face for a second, before Senna started to talk. "I was just telling them about the play," She said looking between me and Ash. "You should come," she smiled, excitement visible in her voice.

"It would be nice having some friends in the audience," She added.

"Of course, yeah," Said Ash with a smile, as I nodded in confirmation unable to say no seeing how excited she is about it. And she considers us her friends!

"When is it?" Asked Zack joining in. "They haven't given us any official date, but I think in three weeks or so," Replied the blonde.

"I don't think they'll be pushing it any further." She added. "It has been delayed long enough"

"I'm sure it will be great," Said Adam smiling at the girl.

I bet it will!
