I fiddled around, picking up the pink v-neck that was folded up on the table in front of me. My dad picked up one similar to it, except it was grey with a giant pink flower on it. "So, why are we here again..Target?"
"Lou and Martha wanted me and you to pick up a couple of tshirts for them, guess they're running low or something." He shrugged, moving on to the rack of tshirts.
Martha and Lou are two of the boys' stylists, and I'm nos really sure why they sent me and my dad out to get them shirts. Do they not have any time? Hm. Guess not. Another thing I don't understand is why my dad bruoght the boys along to with us. They aren't helping at all.
I glanced over at the boys, who were all in hoods and sunglasses and huddled around the table with lady thongs. Typical. Obviously they were tryng to get my attention because Louis and Harry dangled some knickers around Zayn's face while Zayn held a black laced one by the waistband, wiggling his eyebrows up and down. Not to mention that Liam and Niall were laughing at the giant leopard print bras bigger then their heads.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you my only friends at the moment. Also, the biggest boy band in the world.
I resisted a large laugh that wanted nothing more then to escape my mouth. Instead, I turned my head back around and gave my hips a little shake. Louis, Harry, and Zayn laughed and whistled a little to loudly. My dad turned his attention to the boys. "What are those boys whistling about?" He chuckled. I casually shrugged, picking up another tshirt.
"Who knows."

I laid my head down on my pillow, feeling more tired then usual, considering it was only 10 pm. It's almost as if right on cue, my phone began to buzz. Without taking a look at who was calling, I snatched it from the night stand. I swear, if it's one of the boys..
"Hello?" I mumbled.
"Ariana? Hey, it's Jaymee. Were you asleep?"
I immediately sat up, clearing my throat because I sounded like a man when I answered the phone. Also, I was taken completely by surprise that Jaymee is calling me. Why was she calling right now? It had to be atleast five am there. And we haven't talked in over a month! Dang, me and Zayn have been dating for over a month...
"Jaymee? Hey, how are you?" I spoke softly.
"I'm great, actually. What have you been up to lately?" She shounded enthusiastic, but nervous. That's the thing about her, she can act two ways that are opposite, but make it work.
"Well, we've been in New York for about a week, and tomorrow we're leaving for Australia." I huffed.
"That's great! Listen, Ariana. I'm sorry about the whole thing with Dalton. We tried to work everything out, but it didn't really work. We're just too close...and uh, I think he really misses you. We all miss you." I could hear the smile in her voice, and I knew this apology was sincere. She never calls me Ariana. It's normally Ari or some nickname. I felt my lips twitch into an unforced smile and the pit of my stomach begin to twist. God, I want to go back home for just one day. Is that too much to ask?
"It's okay, I over reacted a bit. Damn, I miss you guys so much. Traveling is awesome, though. But it has to be late there. I'll call you as soon as I wake up and catch you up on everything that's been going on lately. Thanks for the call, Jay. I uh..I really needed it."
"No problem, Ari. Night baby girl." I heard a click then the call was over. And just like that, everything was fixed.
I felt that twisting sensation in my stomach deepen, and I began to realize how much I miss the UK, my friends and family. How much I wish I could go back.
But I always think to myself that if I wasn't forced to come here, I wouldn't have been put in the most real relationship that is constantly lying. God, does that even make sense? Ugh, who knows. I need to stop thinking about it and fall asleep already.
Just as I laid my head down on my pillow, there was the biggest burst of thunder I've ever heard. I swear, everything in my room shook.
Well, looks like I'm not getting any sleep tonight.
I tossed in turned for what felt like hours, wincing everytime lightening or thunder scattered across the sky. I hate storms. I hate storms. I hate storms.
Oh, did I mention that I hate storms?
BOOM.
I squeezed my eyelids tightly together after each boom of thunder. I hate storms. Sleeping throught them, especially. They just scare me! I don't like the idea of lightening flashes, gallons of rain, and huge roars of thunder all at the same time. Ever since I was a kid I've hated them.
BOOM.
I squeezed my pillow harder and sunk my face into it, breathing heavily with fright.
BOOM.
Ugh, screw this.
