I shuffled through the airport, trying to keep my head down, but stay close to my dad at the same time. We all reached the glass doors, only to reveal hundreds of screaming girls on the outside. Preston and my dad turned to face us, and by us I mean me, the stylists/management, and five boys that my dad basically babysits. I looked over my shoulderto see the boys waving and making weird faces to all the fans outside.
"Hey! Everybody listen here!" My dad clapped his hands together, catching everybody's attention. "We need to stay together. You hear me? Try not to stop for the fans. Preston is taking the back of the line, I'll take the front. We all know, we've done this before." He held a thumbs up and everybody held one back to him. Just before he turned to open the door, he leaned in closer to me. "And I know you're a little claustrophobic, so just stay close to-"
"Dad, I'm fin-"
"Hey Ariana, don't worry, I'm pretty calustrophobic too." The Irish blonde placed his hand on my shoulder. I shook it off, grumbling a bit.
"I'm fine." I lied. I'm probably the most claustrophobic person you could ever meet. I can't even sit on a train for longer than 10 minutes because I start freaking out. Dad opened the doors and the screams pierced through my ears. I paused, staring at all the fans go crazy as each boy took small steps outside. Preston put a hand on my shoulder and I realized we were the only two left in the airport. He lifted an eyebrow at me and I sighed, walking outside to the crazed fans. They were pushing and shoving, stepping on my feet and elbowing my stomach. I was starting to get a little freaked out, so I turned aroudnt to find Preston. But he was gone. My eyes flicked to the van and I saw him, my dad, and the boys looking out in the crowd for me. More girls pushed me back, away from the van, and panic arose in me.
My breathing hitched and my stomach felt tight, almost as if it wasn't letting me breathe.I tried to fan my face or squeeze onto something, but all I could get was my hair. My grip tightened in the roots of my hair and tears began to sting my eyes. There was no way I could make it to the van, not with this many people. All I could hear was screaming and crying. What a nightmare.. I just want to sink down to the floor, curl up in a ball, and wait for somebody to find me.
"Dad! Dad! Louis! Zayn!" I cried out. My voice was raspy, making it obvious I was holding back tears. I sounded desperate. But honestly, I am. "Harry! Preston! Daddddd! Dad! Loui-" I was cut off by somebody's hand snatching my arm and dragging me through the crowd. I looked over to see it was Zayn. Why not my dad? Much safer if you ask me.
We got to the van in no time, with occasional screams right in my ear. I piled in after Zayn, throwing my bag in with me. I slumped down in my seat, avoiding my dad's gaze.
"Ariana, I told you to stay behind me. If you're going to have a break down everytime, maybe we shouldn't-"
"Dad, I'm fine!" I snapped. "I just thought Preston was behind me and-"
"Yeah, you were pretty fine out there shouting our names...'Louis, Harry, Zayn! Save me!'." Louis mocked, smirking a bit.
"Shut up!" I groaned, making the boys let out a small giggle. My dad turned his gaze to Zayn.
"And as for you, never go out there again! That job is for me and Preston only, okay? You could've been hurt or something and that's the last thing we need." Zayn nodded at my dad, silently apologizing. I rolled my eyes.
"We're not two years old." I mumbled under my breath, quiet enough so my dad couldn't hear.
"That's what you looked like out there.." I whipped my neck around to see Louis fist pumping Harry after his little side comment.
"Would you just stop? I'm not in a good mood, and your childish side coments aren't helping." With that said, I sank into my chair, and began staring out the window, preparing for another awkward car ride.
