Chapter 8

morning

I grabbed my dressing gown and tied it loosely on my waist. I felt someone's warm hands on my hip. "I love you" was whispered into my ear. I turned around and stared deep into his eyes, "Well guess what? I love you more." Shawn gave me a hickey and squeezed my butt.

"SHAWN! YOUR GROSS." Aaliyah watched everything. We gasped and she sniggered. "Aaliyah, go downstairs!" Shawn said. Aaliyah trotted off downstairs.

"You have siblings that listen to you, lucky guy." I whispered. Shawn smiled, "I'm only lucky because of my girlfriend." I pouted. Shawn put his hands on my stomach and felt our girls' kicks. 

"Your cute." I told him. A smile formed onto his face.

After we brushed our teeth together, we went downstairs. "We were waiting for you lovers!" said Karen, excitedly. Shawn groaned and whispered "ignore her" into my ear. "Son.." Manuel started, "Did I ever tell you that you was bad at whispering?" We all burst into laughter. 

"Mom! I saw auntie Hailee and Shawn doing naughty things!" Aaliyah said all of a sudden. I flushed bright red whereas Shawn slightly blushed. Karen couldn't help but laugh and Manuel was grinning. "Whatever." muttered Shawn. I gave him a little poke and leaned in for a hug. 

Once we finished our omelettes, Aaliyah announced "By the way, I have a boyfriend." I dropped my knife. Aaliyah already had a boyfriend and she's 15, lucky. Shawn's my first boyfriend and I'm 19! "WHAT!?" yelled Karen. "Jacob. Jacob Sartorius." 

"My baby sister has a boyfriend at the age of 15? Your doing well in life Aaliyah!" Shawn muttered. I poked him and asked "How long have you guys been dating each other for?" Aaliyah smiled and said "4 months now." 

4 MONTHS KEEPING IT SECRET!?

Manuel was fine with Aaliyah's boyfriend, "fine young lad." he said. Karen was slightly annoyed since Aaliyah didn't tell her in the first place, Shawn couldn't care less and I was happy for her. 

I looked at the time, 11 o'clock, about time we left the Mendes'. I prodded Shawn and gestured to the clock. "It's about time Hailee and I left, we won't be visiting until a few months." Karen stared at us. "A few months!?" she said, shocked. "Sorry Mrs. Mendes, but we've got to start scheduling doctor's appointments etc.." I said, quietly. "You can do them later?" Shawn's mother was a very annoying lady. "Oh leave them be Karen, have a safe journey home kids." Manuel said. I smiled.

"Auntie Hailee?" said a young voice. "Yes Aaliyah?" I looked up at her. "I never tell you this, but I love you so much and I'm going to miss you. So bad." I felt my eyes prick with tears. "Oh come here you little monkey." I wrapped her into a long, emotional hug. "I'm going to miss you too." I whispered into her ear. 

Shawn and I said our final goodbye's and got into the car. "Take care of my niece's!" yelled Aaliyah as we drove off. I turned around, blew her and kiss and said "will do."
