Chapter 13

xmas day morning

I woke up at around 5 to see if there was anything under the tree for me, I found 5 different presents, the muffins and the merch I had wrapped up and 3 others, I left the snow crawler in the garden since it wouldn't fit inside. I am excited.

I walk back up the stairs and find that my space in the bed was taken up. "Shawn?" I whisper into the handsome man's ear, "Shawn?" I sigh, he was sleeping. In a deep sleep. 

Half an hour later I whisper again. "Shawn?" Shawn got up the moment he heard his name. "yes babe?" he mutters, half asleep. "it's Christmas." I tell him. "MERRY CHRISTMAS BABY!" he yells, hugging me. I laugh at him. "you're funny." I say, pulling his cheeks. 

Shawn runs down the stairs and sees his presents. "OH MY GOSH!" he yells. "I GOT PRESENTS!" he yells again. I nod, chuckling. I watch him pick at the wrapping. "hurry up Shawn, I wanna open mine too!" I tell him, watching the time. "fine." he says, smiling. He tore open the Santa wrapping and smiled at the chocolate chip muffins. "thanks babe." he said just before he kissed me. 

"you got one more babe." I tell him. As I try not to giggle, he tears the wrapping, revealing a shirt-with-Zac's-face on it. 

We laughed for 10 minutes, no stopping. "I'll call Zac and tell him later." Shawn said, smiling. 

"lets open yours then." Shawn said, winking at me. I nodded, smiling. I decided to keep the snow crawler for last.

I ripped the Rudolph wrapping and found my favourite clothes in it. "OH MY GOD!" I said screaming, it was the clothes I'd always wanted from Top Shop. "SHAWN I LOVE YOU!" I screamed. He chuckled and blushed as I kissed him on the cheek.

"2 more." he told me. I nodded, excitedly. I peeled the wrapping off and found chocolates, my favourites, dairy milk. "thank you!" I said, happily."anything for you." he said and I blushed hard. 

I opened the last one and found a sign saying look at Shawn. I looked up and found Shawn on the floor, smiling with his arm out, I looked at the little box in his hand. 

"Hailee Steinfeld, will you marry me?" I heard. I nodded and cried. I am going to be marrying my best friend, I think. He slid the ring on my finger and got up to kiss me. "baby, I love you." I whisper into his ear. 

"you've got one more present." I tell him. He looked at me excitedly. I covered his eyes and led him to the garden.

"you can open your eyes now, Mendes." I say. He ran to the huge figure and tore the wrapping open. "OH MY GOSH!" he yelled. "A SNOW CRAWLER!?" he asked. I nodded, smiling. "HAILEE I LOVE YOU SO FREAKING MUCH." he tells me, kissing me hard.

I bit down on his lip, gently. "baby, I don't deserve you." I whisper to him.

"you deserve the world babe." I hear. 

Thing is, he is my world, without him I'm lost.
