Chapter 32

evening

"you ready?" Shawn called out. "nearly!" I yelled from upstairs. I tied my hair up in a messy bun and got North and Paige ready. I gave them both a little kiss and walked downstairs, carefully. 

"you look beautiful." I heard someone say, I turned around and it was Cameron, casually smiling. I blushed slightly and replied with a "thankyou." gave him the twins and hurried off into the car. "so who are we seeing?" I asked. "my friends." Shawn pouted. "okay then." I chuckled. 

We made it to a restaurant and walked inside to find Shawn running up to a group of men. "Meet my wife-to-be, Hailee everyone." I smiled as Shawn introduced me to each of the individuals. "So how do you know each other then?" I asked Matt Espinosa. "we all went to magcon together!" he replied, excitedly. He seemed happy. I smiled in approval.

"how come Cameron's not here then?" Nash Grier asked Shawn. "he's babysitting the twins." he replied, smiling. "I WANT TO MEET THE TWINS!" Jack G and Jack J screamed in unison. I laughed and decided to show them a few photos. 

Whilst the boys were talking, I decided to call Cameron, just to check up on the twins. "I'll be back, one minute." I said to the magcon lads. They all nodded and continued their conversations. I dialled Cameron's number and waited. 

"hello?" I heard from the other end of the phone.

"hi Cameron, its Hailee, how are the twins?" I asked, hoping I didn't sound concerned or else he'd think I didn't trust him with my kids, which I do. 

"they're sleeping for the moment." he replied. 

"okay, if there's any trouble just ring me or Shawn." I said.

"will do." Cameron said.

"okay.. see you when I get back." I said, not knowing what else to say.

"before you hang up, could you come home quickly?" he asked me.

"sure, do you want us to come home now?" I asked, concerned.

"just you, not Shawn." he replied.

I stayed quite for a while. "I'll come home now." I said.

"see you later." he said, ending the phone call on me.

Cameron Dallas sent a snap.

I opened the snap and it turned out to be a close up of his face. I chuckled and decided to screenshot it so I could embarrass him for his birthday. 

"hey! thats not fair, send me one." Cameron Dallas texted me on snapchat.

"ugh fine then." I replied with a laugh emoji. 

I sent him a close up of my face, in which I looked like a potato. He opened the snap and screenshotted it, sending laugh emojis. 

That's how it all began.
