"And.. well.. Nikki.." Astro's face became a dark pink.

"Yes Astro Boy?" Nikki asked. Astro's face became a steaming hot red as Nikki said is whole name.

"W-Well I-I.. you see.. Uhm!" Astro clenched his hands into fists.

You walked around the school campus, looking for your beloved Astro. You smiled happily and hiked up your bag. Astro was supposed to walk you home, just like every afternoon. Once the school bell for classes finishing rang, your heart jumped, you were always so excited to walk home with Astro, you two always bonded every time you hung out.

You turned a corner to see that he was talking that Nikki girl in the class above yours. "Astro..?" You frowned, not knowing if you should intervene or not.

"I like you a lot!" Astro looked down. "I-I love you!" He covered his face with his hands.

"Oh." Nikki's eyes widened. She leaned down and kissed Astro on the head. "I like you too Astro."

You stepped back and shook your head. Your hand smacked onto your chest. You felt pain, physical pain, in your heart. You stepped back and dropped onto the floor. The sky became grey and water came falling. You eyes became moist and because it was hard to control, tears that came flowing out. Nikki and Astro ran off giggling into the school house, he hadn't forgotten about you, had he?

You let the rain drench your clothes and hair. You had been sitting there for a while, just replaying the scene in your head. Your nails had begun to dig into the skin of your chest as your heart beat felt undetectable. You gasp for air and cried out in pure pain. You leaned on the wall of the school house and tried to step forward, but you fell again. Your legs were physically unable to hold your wait at this moment. Your hands were planted into the soggy ground, making sure you didn't fall face first in it. As the rain poured down, the water rose up from the ground, allowing you to see your detained reflection. You pushed yourself away from the sight of your broken expression. You leaned back and looked up at the sky as water fell onto your cheeks, rolling down your neck and down your aching chest.

You loved Astro so much! Maybe if you had just been quicker, maybe if you had just been kinder to him it would all be better, but it wasn't. It wasn't like that! He didn't love you! You blinked away the blinding hot tears as you tried to get the strength to get up and walk home. "Astro.." You breathed, your fingers becoming cold and blue.

"(Y/N)?!"

You sat up and coughed, your chest was still hurting immensely.

"(Y/N)! You're awake, thank God." Reno sighed happily.

"Wha-? Reno?" You blinked a few times and sat up.

"Careful, don't move too much." He suggested. "Are you alright?"

You placed your hand over your heart and nodded. "Mhm.. erm.. yeah." You nodded slowly and gently stood up.

"Do you remember what happened?" Reno asked, helping you stand.

"I think so, I passed out because- Uhm.. because- I was standing in the rain for too long." You lied, well, sort of. "Must've gotten too cold." You shrugged and smiled.

"Why were you out there for so long?" Reno asked.

"I was.. waiting for someone." You looked down to the floor, your smile flattening. "I guess they forgot about me." You shrugged.

"How about I call the guys to come over? We can all have some hot-chocolate and play some video games!" Reno smiled, his goofy voice and his happy go lucky attitude giving your cold heart some warmth.
