Confusing title huh?

You and Astro both swung each other's hands back and forth as you both journeyed across the lake of Metro City.

"I've had fun with you today Astro." You shone him a dashing smile.

"Me too (Y/N)." Astro nuzzled into your side with a hug.

"I love you." You cooed in his ear. He turned around to face you and cupped your cheeks.

"I love you too." He was beginning to pull you into a kiss, but then, just as you were about to reach his lips, something fell on your head, pushing you down and stealing that kiss from Astro.

You let out a yell as you were forced to the ground. That thing that landed on you quickly got up off of you and looked around. "Where is momma??" She questioned. The small girl had brown hair with (E/C) eyes and a head shape just like yours.

"Where did you come from little one?" Astro asked bending down to reach her height. You sat up and looked at the girl, who didn't seem to be paying attention to you. The small child huffed and crossed her arms at Astro, she stared at him for a moment, especially his hair, like it reminded her of someone.

"Where is (Y/N) (L/N)?" She asked sternly.

"That would be me." You rubbed your head and stood up.

"Mother!" She run up to you and hugged your leg.

"Mother??" You and Astro both yelped.

"S-Sorry little one, you have me confused with someone else." You shook you head.

"No! You're my Momma!" She squeezed your leg tighter, possibly cutting off circulation.

"She did say your full name.. maybe she knows who you are?" Astro stepped closer to you.

"But I don't know who she is.." You tired to pull your leg back.

"She looks a lot like you." Astro shrugged. "What's your name?" He asked the little girl.

"My name is (D/N)!" She shut her eyes and nuzzled into your thigh.

"And who did you say your mother was?" He asked again.

"(Y/N) (L/N)!"

"That's impossible, I swear I haven't had any children Astro!" You shook your head at him. You didn't want him thinking you cheated on him or something.

"I know." He nodded calmly. You sighed in relief.

"Maybe we could go around town, looking for her real mother?" You suggested.

"Sounds like a plan." Astro stepped back. "I ask any robots from above. You keep looking down on the ground." He activated his rockets and flew off after waving to you. You waved back and looked at the child.

"Come on, let's go find your Mom." You pat her head, she broke the tight hold from your leg.

"You are my Momma!" She cried, shaking her head. She jumped into your arms, hugging your neck. You smiled a little at the adorableness of the girl.

"Well, if I'm your mother, who is you father?" You asked. The little girl frowned.

"I don't know daddy's name.." She admitted.

"Ah. Of course not." You stood up with the young girl in your arms, she buried her face in the crook of your neck as you looked around for women who could be looking for their baby.

Astro flew around, trying to scan the places for some posters of a missing daughter or something like that. He had no luck so far, but he wasn't just about to give up.

"Astro! Oh darling!" A familiar voice called out to him. He looked to the ground to see.. You?

"(Y/N)? Did you find the little girl's mother?" He asked, dropping to the floor in front of her. "And did you get taller..?" He asked, needing to step back and look up at you so he wasn't eye to eye with her chest.

"Nope! You've gotten shorter." She smiled at him and cupped his cheeks, giving him a kiss on his lips.

"Have you found (D/N) yet? She ran off again!" (Y/N) placed her hands on her hips. "We really need to do something about that.."

"I'm sorry ma'am.. I think you have me mistaken for someone else." Astro stepped back. She looked like an older version of you.

"Astro, now isn't the best time to be playing games." You scolded. "We need to find our daughter."

"Astro! There you are!" He turned around to see you! You were running up to him.

"(Y/N)?" Astro asked, he then looked back up to the older you and then back to you. "What.. I thought.. Huh?"

"Oh dear.. This isn't good." (Y/N) placed her hand up to her cheek a she began to sweat.

"Momma!" (D/N) jumped out of your arms and ran up to the taller you.

"Oh.." You stopped running when you came next to Astro. "Who's she..?" You whispered to Astro.

"You?" Astro said with uncertainty in his voice.

"I'm sorry about this you two." (Y/N) apologised while picking up her brown haired child. "Something must have gone wrong in the lab.." She sighed. "I'll be taking our- my daughter now. Thank you for looking after her." She bowed her head and turned around.

"Wait-!" Astro called out, he felt like he needed to ask a few questions.

"Oh, and Astro. Just a tip for the future. Buy me the silver ring, not the gold." (Y/N) winked at him before waving and walking into the crowded streets of metro City.

"What just happened?" You asked Astro.

"No idea." He replied, shaking his head no.
