"Robyn, are you awake yet?" My eyes slowly flutter open. I open them to see Ryeighnér standing over my bed.

"Where... where am... I?" I stutter. My body feels so weak, my eyes begin to close again.

"No no no no no Robyn don't close your eyes again, you need to eat." I refuse to listen and I turn away from Ryeighnér. She places her hand on my shoulder, her hands are so warm on my cold bare shoulders. Her long brown hair brushes my back.

"Please Robyn, you cant die on me." She weeps. I open my eyes and turn back to face her.

"Do you truly care for me Ryeighnér, or do you just not want me to die under your name." In shock she steps away from me and shakes her head.

"For course I care for you, I've known you my whole life, if I lost you I would truly be sad." I knew deep down that Ryeighnér is lying to me. I sit up and stretch my wings. She turns to look at me and gives me a worried look.

"What's troubling you. Why the glum look?"

"You don't care for me, you only want to please my mother and the other Superiors. And I know the dirty little secret you all share. Ive known for some time, that..." Ryeighnér slams her fist into the floor.

"I DON'T NEED YOU TO REPEAT IT!" She booms.

"YOU KNOW EXACTLY HOW MY FATHER DIED NOW TELL ME!" Ryeighnér closes her eyes and begins to cry.

"Yes we all vowed to keep it a secret. We never wished for you to know. Your mother decided at a meeting, for us to never tell you, I agreed, Merlyinê and Rowuther wanted to tell you, I was the one to tell them that they were stupid. But Merlyinê was angry, and wanted to just let you know and accept what happened. She was foolish. While Rowuther kept his mouth shut, Merlyinê got more angry, and from her rage, her purple markings faded away, and were replaced with blue markings."

I sit there in shock, I never knew the Superiors could lose their markings.

"Where is Merlyinê now?"

"She was killed and consumed by her own rage." My eyes widen, that isn't what I was expecting.

"So Now Harlyquin is in her place?"

"Yes, she is Merlyinês daughter." After one Superior leaves the new ones are chosen but fate, if their marks suddenly go purple, that means that chosen person will take the empty place.

"Was Merlyinê that old?"

"She was fifty at her time of passing."

"Oh." Our conversation ended there. I decide to finish asking about my father.

"Uhh, Ryeighnér... about my father, Zenüas, what happened to him?" The room goes dead silent, she isn't going respond. I lie back down on the bed and close my eyes.

"Please." I cough.

"Just TELL ME!" I scream. I feel myself burning up. I sit up, and cross my legs. My hands are red hot, if i touch anything it will burn.

"The one thing I long for, the one thing that could unlock so many secrets in my search for fathers death, the Druids and Rayla, I will never be told the truth." A tear drops down my face as hail begins to bucket down. The tear drips off the end of my chin and onto my hand, it sizzles and smoke rises off my hand.

"Robyn, you know very well that I will never tell you what truly happened. But I will tell you something."

"Please!" I beg.

"You were so young," she says and walks back over to me and sits next to me on the bed. She wraps her arms and wings around me. I study her markings, they are so intricate and detailed. They're beautiful.

"You didn't deserve to be so sad and lose your father at such a young age." I nod my head, and another tear leaves my eye.

"He only wanted to protect his family, his village, his people. But something got the better of him."

"Not something... someone." I add on.

"And how would you know that."

"I already told you, the one thing that could unlock so many secrets in my search for fathers death, the Druids and Rayla, lies within you, you're the key to my information." She removes her wings from around my body and her arms drop to her sides.

"The Druids... how do you know about them? And who is Rayla?"

"Shes just one of the birds I like to talk to." I lie.

"As for the Druids, I found a book on about them, and on the first two pages, are names, and my fathers name is one of those."

"So I'm guessing you know about Blacze?" This is a new name to me, I'm intrigued.

"No, tell me more."

RAYLAS P.O.V

I fly back towards the sand, and drop onto the ground, scraping my wings against the rough sand. Thunder booms as the storm rolls closer and closer towards the island. I lift my head to see blood all over the sand, trees collapsed and blood smeared all over from Blaczes poor flying skills. My head feels so heavy, I can not even keep it upright.

My head collides with the sand and some blows up my nose. A sneeze sits me upright once again. I pull my wing around to see what hurts so bad, I've cut my right wing, only a small graze, but a very bloody one. The blood from Blacze doesn't help either.

I take some feathers and vines and patch up my graze. There are still splatters of blood all over my wings from Blacze. I stand myself up and instantly trip myself and I'm back on the floor once again. I decide to stay on the floor, I'm to tried to move any more. Drops of rain begin to hit me, and I look up to see that the storm clouds have fully covered the island, making the night sky appear even darker.

I crawl myself under a tree where the rain can't reach. I gather a pile of fallen palm leaves and place them under my head, and as soon as my head hits that pile of leaves, I'm in a deep sleep.
